DA3 : Wardens return?

I am personally a great fan of the Grey Warden institution created by bioware and would hope that our own warden to continue a growing and elaborative story.
Obvioulsy however there are many saying that they don't want the series to be confined. To them I offer an alternative, a system like to the which was used in "Elder Scrolls; Oblivion" where your character remained neutral with the option to join factions and guilds. This system slightly adapted would allow players to become part of and learn more about the great groups around Thedas from choosing to directly side with mages/templars to becoming an ash warrior.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is just a small list on areas I think would be brilliant to use this system -
1) Country reputation, jobs and questions done for a country that rewards characters with things like lordships and country army general.
2) Institution/ Guild reputation, missions again gain reputation that results in promotion to positions like Master ash warrior. (Ash warrior, Grey Warden, Templar, Dragon Cultists, Antivan Crow ..............).
3) Conflicting groups, The Qun, mages and templars are all in conflict with themselves and other and deciding on whether your character treats them all equally or side fully would make the world a lot more customizable and expand the story.

They even think to start again with Hawk for DA3.
It's hard to believe that things will change profoundly when the same important things will be back the next episode.

If they were smart they would want to distance themselves from DA2 as much as they could, and includes the protaginist.
They just need a new PC, it's not like they are hard to make.

The article from eurogamer or whatever that said "Mike Laidlaw has hinted at plans for Hawke and a sequel" actually didn't say anything regarding Mike Laidlaw saying that.
You read that article and you'll see that nowhere was it shown to be there.
So I'm not taking that site seriously anymore since they said "Over in this article so-and-so said this" and the article they linked me to doesn't have any proof of what they're claiming.

I read also Mike Laidlwaw and saw his vision for the future. Clearly the idea of taking the Warden again didn't delight him.

Or they could just make him like Red in Pokemon Gold and Silver. He doesn't say anything, but you see him.
EDIT: crap, phrase dilemma. Is it "could care less" or "couldn't care less"?

Similarily, even if we have a new PC in DA3 and it happens to look like a Hawke/Shepard clone, I will most likely not buy the game.

I could care less whether I play as Xanthos Aeducan again or not. But if he makes cameo appearance and is voiced then he needs to be voiced by Fred Tatasciore, because that was the voice that best fit him for me.

Couldn't.

If you want to see a Hell break loose, you would see some extremely pissed off people if their dwarf and Dalish wardens were disregarded.

People would complain if the Warden returned because if they did decide go that route, it would like be retconned to just the Human Noble origin.

Human noble origins Sword & Shield is the canon anyway
At least in the trailer :innocent:

They're not going to get rid of VO, giving the Warden a voice would be bad.
They could do it but people would raise hell because they would likely only use one warden/one class...the one that was the most popular according to their research. They would use the human noble class and get voices for the male/female Warden.
Everyone who had dwarf or dalish wardens would be screwed.

Dwarf and Dalish are inferior. Be superior, be a noble human

And thats the route they would likely go....
They would initially have a default male/female character but people who did not like that origin would be left out in the cold and if people think they saw anger over DA:2....it would be mild compared to knowing their dwarf or dalish Wardens would be tossed aside.

Well my canon is a Human Noble Rogue....
I would just feel bad for those with Dwarf and Dalish Wardens.

So if 68% of people chose Fred Tatasciore for the Dwarven Male voice, then Fred Tatasciore could fully voice the Dwarf Noble Warden.
edit: Thanks Zanallen

No they could probably use the Warden from every race. And if we're unable to recustomize them to be as close as they were in Origins, give them a full helm. Then, if there's some way to find out which battle voice was picked the most, then pick that for the Warden.
So if 68% of people chose Fred Tatasciore for the Dwarven Male voice, then Fred Tatasciore could fully voice the Dwarf Noble Warden.
But wouldn't their be extra cost involved if each origin was voiced?

Agree. But after all even if they make one voice people would complain about the voice not being the one the want. Personally I don't care. When you born you don't chose your voice
To the other post. The battle voice in DAO were all horible anyway...
