My Hawke was kind of dark-featured, so to set him apart, I gave him yellow eyes, similar to Morrigan's. 

I'm not surprised that Bethany, Carver, and my mother all had the same eyes, given I know the game checks on features of Hawke and applies it to the family (they're also dark-skinned, for example).  

But the weird, yellow eyes crop up everywhere.  I don't really see them on elves, but a lot of humans have them, along with some dwarves.  

Anyone else notice this?

Doing a quick checkback in the game, I notice Anders, Isabella, and Varric all have yellow eyes. I know that Aveline, Fenris, and Merril do not.

I don't notice it on minor characters, but several major ones (like Cassandra) also have yellow eyes.

Any mods installed? And it may not be a bug--the devs seemed to really like their yellowish eyes in this game.

I havent double-checked, but I don't think it's a bug. Half the game is yellow eyes.

There are a lot of yellow eyes, next is green, then lyrium blue. Rare to see brown and grey eyes but there are a couple of each.
