Sorry i had to post in my agreement to this. I find the female gamers on this site very disgusting and extremely self entitled. Ofcourse that is a sweeping generalization and there are some nice ones but in general that is how i perceive the female fanbase on here. Now i am finished with this thread as i have got my answer. King Zeel, carry on SEETHING, it is hilarious.
Seriously?

Shepard can be male/female, so why does ManShep only get the coverage? Why should FemShep not get a look in once in a while. We are finally getting one half of a cover and a trailer. Why should Jennifer Hale not get some recognition for doing the same work as Mark Veer etc?

Confused guys that cannot afford a sex change most probably. I'm not knocking it, each to their own, but it is the most likely explanation.Vamp44 wrote...
Um..from what I've seen a **** load of guys play as Femshep anyway. I don't, but a lot do. So, yea they're not 'pandering' to the female fans only.

Male privilege. Most men fail to realize how entitled they actually are. They are so used to being pandered to that they consider people granting concessions to other groups as an "imbalance."ZombieGeisha wrote...

Oh yeah sure that is the reason I have two femsheps (and two male sheps), because clearly i'm confused about my own sexuality... ah nevermind... you're just out to throw mud and i'm about to fall to your level.

I know there aren't as many female gamers but sometimes it feels as if we aren't allowed to play or to be even considered. Why should our sex affect our gaming experience?

Bioware made their decision to have Femshep on the CE's boxart and I'm glad they made it. Femshep is as valid a protagonist as Sheploo/Maleshep.

I wasn't suggesting that I approve of it, if that's what you were thinking. I was just making an obsevation. it shouldn't affect anything. There are more female gamers than you think, they're just less vocal. I think somewhere around 40%ZombieGeisha wrote...

For what it's worth, Bioware is one of the few companies (alongside other western RPG developers like Obsidian and Bethesda) that actually seem to care about the diversity of their fanbase. It's only natural to hold them to a higher standard because of their previous track record.

1. Oh no I know, I was just branching off. Sorry!
2. That is why I like Bioware I can play a strong female lead.

I have read this on the internet and wonder if it is true? Is it a choice or is female shepard mandatory as the lead on the boxart? If so then this will unfortunately put me off buying the collectors edition.
I hope they'll both be on the front, and with hers being bigger than his.
She's getting her own trailer too, by the way. So hard to imagine you actually missed that element in your protest against women.

Why does it matter either way?

You aren't helping with the same attitude but with opposite opinion.
This is why everyone who is holding a banner is guilty in this conflict.

Gterror, do not post sexist picture spam again or posting privileges will be revoked.
KingZeel, you're on the bad list, try to not get any more bad publicity.
If you want to start a new thread talking about the duel covers of the ME3 CE you may do so.
