It would take a while to get used to Justice's booming voice coming from Merrill's lithe body. First few nights will be freaky.jlb524 wrote...

*Sigh* I wish I could add Justice to that list.
Kill Anders and have Justice possess Merrill...problem solved.
Disclaimer: I don't actually support either the kililng of Anders or the possession of Merrill by any spirit.

and the ones where you can "turn" the other person and affect their character (Bastila, Alistair).
I read somewhere, that the original version of the Aerie romance in BG2 had an ending where she got turned into a bird forever. So she got her wings back, but at a price, and you would never see her again. I would have loved that ending.

Leliana. You're just playing hard to get.

Modded Leliana looks like every other wannabe starlet out there. I never saw her appeal, sorry.
I agree so much with this. The original Leliana has a nice, unique appeal, the same with Morrigan. That's what I never got about the fans of the bizzaro versions in that cheesy Sacred Ashes trailer.
Well, back on topic.
My top five favorite romance option Bioware has produced so far in a roleplaying game would have to be *drum roll*:
1.) Jaheira
2.) Morrigan
3.) Leliana
4.) Bastila
5.) Viconia
I play both male and female characters, and so far Bioware has yet to write a male character that is appealing. Perhaps I'm just more critical of male characters, being a guy, or it's some strange paternal instinct of creating a female character that causes excessive judgement as to who my female characters hook up with, giving a strict view of potential male suitors. Alistair comes closest but he straddles the fourth wall so much with his dialogue that I almost wanted to kick him out of the party if I could, as some points. Kaiden was also pretty good, much better than Carth. Zevran is at the bottom fo the heap, he always reminded me of Pepe Le Pew, just too desperate and cheesy and a remorseless murderer to top it all off. Yep, I'm too critical of male NPCs I guess. I just hope my female PCs have good standards. Then again I'm fairly picky with my male PCs too.

2. Leliana
3. Garrus
4. Kelly Chambers (doesn't really count but I still flirt with her everytime).
5. Liara T'Soni

Followed by Ashley and Morrigan in no particular order. The LI in Jade Empire didn't really appeal to me. Silk Fox was annoying and Dawn Star felt like a sister.

But then I'd say Morrigan is a close second, with the caveat that I'd likely rage if DA3 turns up and the Warden that went through the Eluvian with Morrigan is written off.

Silk Fox also gets points just for that conversation you have with her as Princess Lian at the start of the Imperial City, if you pick all the confrontational and disrespectful options that keep making her attendants faint. That just cracked me up.
