Finally finished the second mass effect with the imported character I had from the first Mass Effect. I'll go ahead and describe steps I've taken and what my Shepard was like to help you answer the questions I have. So I played as completely paragon, though I had some renegade points for lord knows what reason. So me being a smartty, I went ahead and did all of the DLCs ( including Arrival :/ ) and all of the loyalty missions ( as well as most of the N7 missions ) before acheiving the IFF. When I got the IFF my crew was captured and then I did the loyalty mission for Legion as well as two n7 missions I found around, because I'm an idiot. I went into the suicide mission expecting success when it turns out I lost " half my crew " according to the Doctor. I managed to keep the whole team alive though and got that achievement. I romanced Ashley in the first Mass Effect and then romanced Miranda in Mass Effect 2. So now it's time for the questions.

1) Do you think doing Arrival before the suicide mission will cause any problems in Mass Effect 3?

2) Will the fact I lost half of my crew cause any major stresses or problems in Mass Effect 3 you think?

3) If I create a NG+ ( for insanity achievements ) will this overlap my current save, or will it be two seperate saves and I get to choose which of the saves gets imported into Mass Effect 3?

4) Does being pure Renegade cause any issues with saving your crew and team, even though it's only 5 gamerscore I want this achievement >.<!?

5) So Miranda had sex with Shepard, yet when I talk to her after the mission she says the same thing which is " I'll be by when things are quiet. " I've seen youtube videos where you can be with her in your quarters, how can you get this to occur?

6) I miss Kelly :'(.

I will try to answer the best I can.

1-No, I don't think so.  Not everyone has played Arrival and it will be view as something Shepard done whether or not the player actually played it.  Or how I understand it anyway.

2-We don't know yet, or I haven't heard anything.

3-It will create a new save file.  I have 11 different save files for the same import from ME.

4-No it does not.  You can be a complete jerk to the crew and still have them be loyal.  Saving the crew all depends on how many missions you do after the collectors take them.  Do one and they start dying.  The more you do the more you lose.

5-There is a personal terminal next to the message terminal.(to right)  You call Miranda up through the private terminal.

You forgot to answer number 6, the most important question of all ( jk )!

Thanks for your answers, do you think it's worth it to replay the game again just to keep the whole crew alive? Also, do you recommend I replay Mass Effect 1 and go pure Renegade and import that character over instead of the Paragon character from the first? Or just do a NG+ and rely on Genesis?

If you want different games with different stuff going on then yes, replay it again.

I have six different Shepards from ME to ME2 and I will import them all to ME3.

My canon Shep is a paragon, I did import that one over because I like the bonuses you receive for doing so and it was my level 60 Shep instead of creating a new Shepard I did do a renegade run with. Not sure if I will import that one over or not.

About number six. Kelly is meh. The last three games I done lately, I haven't even spoken to her.

Looking online for others opinions, experiences, and such i'm even more worried that this character is now just a failure, I spent 55 hours on it ( 20 from the first Mass Effect, 35 in the second ) and to lose part of your crew is just sad. Going around the Normandy there's nothing but depression, the Doctor seemed to have taken an emotional toll, Engineer Donnelly is depressed, That one lady in the crew's quarters is sad because of the one dude who will never get to " hug his daughter ". Makes me feel like I made the wrong choice in waiting too long. And it's not so much that I want to romance Kelly, it's that she was always there and now that she's gone, it doesn't feel right.

I sincerely hope that Bioware adds replacements for those of us who lost part, if not all of our crew!
