You know what we really need in games and this one especially? Wrong choices. For once I want to make the call and then learn I F-ed up and screwed everyone. I want to feel the sadness of knowing there is nothing I can do to save the galaxy and watch as the reapers repeat the cycle of extinction once again.
I'd hope some of these choices that have the wrong choice would be in earlier games, such as Rachni and Collector Base. That way I'd have another reason to revisit the games I love to fix my mistakes.

I'm just hoping we see Balak in ME3 so I will know if I messed up saving those 3 people instead of gunning him down on my Paragon shep...

Erm, we've always had them. To the folks that said: "There's bias towards being right." I don't believe that because destroying that base, may be worse than having kept it; however, I won't go back if destroying it is in fact more pragmatic than diplomatic. If that's the case I may as well replay the entire series, but I needn't.

Well - while I do hope that in future RPGs they prove a little more innovative in their storytelling and provide options that lead to dead ends in certain main story and side adventures. I don't think the ending should be where Bioware begins testing the waters of providing more "mature" consequences vs. pandering to an instant gratification, feel good audience.

Though - feel good is very popular and lucrative. Don't expect the mold to break any time soon.

Or some kind of mission that has to do with the "Batarian Rebelian" I was disappointed when nothing in ME2 came up. As Paragon as I am I always shot him though. Few for the many was my logic.

But the astroid isn't going to crash and the Alliance will be after him+you don't know if he will even try to kill humans agains...so maybe you killed those people for nothing

Given that its been designed as a trilogy from the start, whois to say you already havent made some bad choices that will bite you in the arse in ME3?
We already have confirmation that someone will be hunting yuo; "you should have killed me when you had the chance"

A dangerous suggestion. Would be fun though. However, what if the outcomes of wrong choices culminate in ME3? Saving Garrus marks us as a vigilante supporter? Helping Kasumi retrieve the graybox and then letting her keep brands us as a traitor to the Alliance? Supporting Tali by concealing the actions of her father alienates the Quarians? Thane killing Nassana looks as if we supported it in the eyes of the Asari? I don't know. All of it could come back to us in a negative way. Maybe there are bad decisions that start in ME1 that we feel the brunt of in ME3. If not, oh well. If so, it'll be one of those WTF moments.

God yes. Execution style please. Specifically, a bucket wearing tramp.

I wouldn't mind a decision or two coming back and biting me in the ass, making it harder to win, or making the price of victory higher than it might have been otherwise. But I don't think having decisions you made in ME1 create a lose condition for ME3 is a good idea. I'd be more likely to throw the game in the trash than go back and play the other two games over again just so I could win ME3.

I am starting to think that keeping the base will be a bad thing.  But I also am beginning to think that saving the Rachni queen will also be a bad thing.  One renegade/one paragon decission.  Works out fairly, for those that want everything to be fair.
