We need better, more detailed romances in ME3.

Here's my small idea I posted in Kaidan thread. How about having an option to ask the LI to move to Shepard's quarters? You would have some of his/her personal odds and sods appear on Shep's shelfs & lockers and too add some believability and spicyness to the romantic side of the relationship, why not have some underwear/clothes kicking around the bed area? From the developement POV, it's such an extremly simple thing to do, just placing few additional objects in Shep's quarters (like the ship models and space hamster in ME2) and perhaps making the LI appear there from that point. But from the relationship and its believability POV, it would add alot. Little details matter.
That would be great.

Or I've brought up before how I think Tali could pull an Alister because her people are against a dextro x amino love but ok with dextro x dextro loves I would like to make her reconsider Alister had this option too but it failed even though it would be reasonable to ask your LI to just try and make it work.

I'm started to think that everyone here thinks Mass effect 3 is their personal booty call. Don't get me wrong, any thing that has added detail/attention is okay in my books, but this whole expansion of the romance system.. Is like you guys don't even want a game, you wan't to jack off to alien fan-sex.
Moving in? necessary? we kind of our fighting an INTERGALACTIC BATTLE FOR THE HUMAN RACE.
AND ARE ON THE SAME BLASTED SHIP ANYWAYS!!!!!!!!!
"nice moment together" what the hell does that mean? What you want them to spend hours in eachother arms. Not only is sex the best thing to do but its TIME EFFICIENT.

And I don't get why people who don't care about certain features bash those that do. Many of us like the feature, it's there, we're going to talk about it. Deal with it. If you don't wanna hear about it, stay out of the ROMANCE discussion forum and just stick to the other ME3 forums!

IF ONLY I COULD JUST STAY OUT OF THE ROMANCE SECTION! too bad it spills over into everything.
Yes, including my game.
we'll be discussing bloody gun mods and someone will bring up Tali's romance path.

If it involves shooting Tali with said gun mods than it may be allowed.

Or just something as simple, that actually make you feel you're in romance with that person and not just when you have sex scene before final battle. Or second option would make sense also with your friends. What's wrong to invite grunt for cup of coffee before mission?

See Zeely? THIS is what succesful trolling looks like. You've gotta make sense, and keep the inflammatory remarks coming. Now, you tend to focus on Tali a lot, and that's okay; Just remember, you should branch out some. Your predecessor, Elite_Midget, focussed only on Ashley's catsuit, and it fizzled away for him. I like what you're doing with this bashing non-humans thing, that's a good way to even things out so that when one topic stops working, you still have the other to troll.
Keep this up and I'll have to give you a Succesful Troll is Succesful pic

I really like this idea, it's brilliant!!
I also agree there should be more romancing dialog options in ME3.
I always felt it was too easy to get a team mate romancing you in ME2. It should be interesting to win the love interest of our LI through our actions and choices throughout the game, instead of getting there, talking to them, showing you're interested and realize that, conveniently, he/she is also in the mood.
It should feel more like a true achievement rather than simply another option.

You may be joking as indicated by your smiley but I have seen this comment crop up seriously for every bioware game and feel the need to address it. As usual.
Comments like this are crap. Nobody here is saying they want a damn dating sim game. The fact is that a HUGE part of the unique appeal in Biowares game- the biggest draw for me, as a female gamer- are the character story arc developing conversations and story progressing cut scenes and huge into that is the development of the relationships with the love interests. I think it dramatically increases the immersive nature of my Shepard the ability to get into the role and be the commander is the amount of affection I feel for my team or in Zaeeds case the amount of loathing.
I love how the romance makes my character a feeling person instead of a character archtype. And depending on who I romance it dramatically alters my femshep character. I have played ME1 a LOT over and over and it never fails to engage me and make me feel like a part of the world but NO GAME EVER ANYWHERE puts me in my characters shoes like DAO. That game will forever be the best game ever for character development and story and love interests. Every love interest in DAO had a specific story to tell and within the romances there were different paths Allistair utterly crushed my elf mage when he left her after she spared Loghain It was AWESOME! Zevran was the greatest gem in the entire game and Morrigan well her romance was onbly accessible as a male and I loved her character so muuch I played a male.
I loved the vanilla scenes in DAO for the romance tent time I felt that was romantic and very tasteful the team really went for intimacy rather then fanservice and it worked perfectly- again in the vanilla version. My only complaint was I would have rather seen side boob and side butt rather than watch the characters grind in their underpants. that could be fixed with an option to turn underpants on or off or just tweaking the scenes a bit to make surte they stayed rated M. without the underpants.
I enjoy playing the games Bioware makes but would not like them nearly as much if the romances were not there and I would LOVE ME3 to have as much development and detail in the romances as DAO. Sadly I feel we wil never see a game as character driven and story driven and still as open eneded as DAO was. Even though gameplay in ME is vastly superior to gamepolay in DAO, DAO wins for me in the romance and character development.
I secretly hope for a new ME game after Mass effect called Spectre Origins that gets you to be a spectre of a differerent species. I might be interested in playing a Turian Female Spectre, or an Asari Fem only since they are monogendered but look like a female or Krogan Male only since the females stay onworld.
Oh well to the popint we don't want a dating sim we love the story and gameplay but as with all good things we want more and since the romances are so popular shouldn't we get more?
I also agree I don't want more romance at the expense of friendships I would have loved more convos with Jack and Grunt as a femshep convos with Jack were completely gimped and Grunt-- well he always left me wanting more but thats because I adore Krogan- I mean Have you seen their adorable little tails! And my Shepard raised Grunt... sorta she's is totally maternal toward him Everytime he kills someone or blows **** up she's all like "That's my boy!":kissing:

Ew no. No one wants that. I understand that the romances are technically a "subplot" in these games, and that a lot of people don't care about them. But let's be honest. It's a Bioware game. Bioware does romance and they usually do it pretty well - and a lot of people respond to the game based solely on this. So it is a really important factor to a great many fans, which is why I think they put so much effort into it.
I would definitely like more interaction with the love interest, as well as really good friendship conversations. Hopefully when Casey Hudson said "deeper relationships" this is what he meant. They seem to understand that having 12 squad members really limited the amount of in depth characterization you could get with them. I'm really excited for this.
For romances carried over from ME1 or ME2 I think Bioware has a chance to really open up a whole new realm of possibilities with dialogue and interaction. Because if you have an established relationship with someone, your conversations are going to be more casual, more in depth, more intimate than they would be if you were building the romance from the beginning. So I hope we see this too.
