i'm sure this has been asked before, but ah heck.
how do you spec a dual wield warrior?
i want to make one that uses swords, so what do i spec into strength or dex?
i'm really not sure at all what to do here.

This is a good thread for stats: http://social.biowar...6/index/7278739 I had the same question at first XD look for Last Darkness's build and follow that its extremely powerful! To paraphrase it for specs go with besrker/reaver put enough points into strength for the armor you want to wear (don't forget fade points!) then all points into dex. Swords are good but daggers are much much faster and do less damage on strike but they hit so many times more it defintly makes up for it. for equipment go with roses thorn, edge (if your using daggers) for swords i guess starfang and either cailians or duncans. amulet always go spellward, rings lifegiver and key to city/ring of ages. for armor its a personal choice, cailians armor is pretty good because of the fatigue reduction. thats atleast my opinon. good luck! also since this build is ridiculous powerful i advise to play on a higher difficulty. normal is fine but hard is more fun in my opinion and still not that challenging.

oh i forgot! if you do end up using full size weapons its probably best if you put 36 points into dex then the rest into strength but again this is just my opinion there are a lot of different builds out there for both types of duel wielders.

My last playthrough has Oghren as Dual wield Warrior.
At the end right before the Archdemon he had:
Base stats.
Strength : 50
Dexterity: 40
Cunning: 16
Warrior filled
Dual Weapons filled
Berzerker filled
Champion 3 out of 4.
Using 2 (yes 2) The Veshialle with on both axes + fire, electricity damage as well as "slow" rune.
While the way of the warrior is not for me I did notice nice damage coming from him, again I never played a warrior beyond Lothering so I am not expert in builds for PC's.

Copy and Pasted. This is the "Suicide" build. Also I highly suggest useing Stone Aura Shale as they buffs you get from her surpass the buffs from Song of Courage.
Also theres two variations now that have more survivability if the Suicide build has to many problems for you (Since your running two abilities that constantly drain health)
Berserker/Champion is a more defensive and surviable build that has the benefits of more attack and defense and a aoe knockdown. (Rally is a extreme Stamina hog so it works well in this build since your dont spam attacks)
Berserker/Templar is a more survivable build since it give more mental and magic resistance, also has a decent aoe knockdown. This build also opens up the option to build 100 Spell Immune and 100 Dodge characters.
(Berserker/Templar Duel Daggers I call the Riddick build since minus stealth your basicaly Riddick from Chronicles of Riddick lol )

No
its really not, dual daggers do so much more damage it's crazy. As TLD
and I said (im "borrowing" one of his builds) dex dag/dag is
highest.
Thanks for the credit.
But yes my build does around nearly 1000 damage a second when properly setup with no hacks, cheats or anything.
Duel Daggers are fast and most actualy have decent stats.
As
a Warrior you dont need any other stats then Str or Dex, in this build
you only need as much Str to wear your armor. Put everything else into
Dex.
Dex boosts defense, attack score, and your damage with daggers.
You are going to be auto attacking mostly in this build so stamina isnt a concern.
Berserker boosts your damage per hit by +8, and a small health regen.
Now you can either go Reaver for more damage or Templar for more defense. We will assume Reaver.
Reaver
has a ability that puts out a pulse of damage every couple seconds and
has a ability that also boosts your damage per hit by upto +10.
Put 3 +5 damage runes into your daggers so they do +15 elemental damage.
Have two mages, one running flaming weapons for +20 damage and one running frost for +10 damage.
You can stack +spell damage effects onto your character upto +30% (+50% in Awakening)
Also you can debuff enemy resitances so they take double damage from all elemental damage.
So now with that setup your doing insane damage, and can tank most mobs due to the fact you have such a high defense.
last party member is your choice but a Shale with Stone Aura or a Bard with Song of Courage will boost these effects even more.
Also of course you will be running skills to get +50% attack speed boost.
This will allow you to do the highest possible damage in Origens.
In Awakening
this builds damage skyrockets if you get Spirit warrior since now all
your normal damage is spirit, it can multiplied and bypasses armor.

I suggest the Dwarf Noble, or Dwarf Commoner or Human Noble Origins.
Though you can get the second best Dagger in the game only if you are a City Elf though.
As funny as this sounds...I dont suggest a Duel Heavy Weapon Strength Stacked character as a warrior. You will get better milage outta that build as a melee rogue.
Duelest/Ranger or Duelist/Assassin (But only get the first Assassin talent) work best and pick up Legionnaire Scout in Awakening.
Its a simple build, 36 Dex, All other Points into Str. (Keep in mind you get +4 Dex from the Fade so its really only 32 Dex investment). You want to stack melee crit on this type of character.
Again I suggest Dwarf since its has the best stats and racial ability.
An aside note, Dwarf Noble has probably one of the most enjoyable stories through the game. Especialy if you side with Bhelen, and at the end ask for aid in the deep roads.

i almost nearly forgot about this topic, i started playing rift and got side tracked i guess.
but anyway after having to change my account all my dlc got unautherized and i had to get a hack to make it work again, i wasn't paying for the dlc twice.
someone was stalking me on here by using my email address and hacked my old account to see my posts. my profile was set to private so getting hacked was the only thing that explained it.
so i changed my account so i could change my email. but long story short i lost all of my progress on dragon age 1 and 2. i was lucky enough to have my saves in origins but i lost all specs, all achievments and all my saves in da2. all those hours down the drain, and all because of someone's sick fetish.
anyway that's what happened since i was on my old account wildrivr, to any who remember me, i'm sorry for everything i did, i was losing my sense of self and lost my nerve.
anyway i've never thought of putting daggers on a warrior, but how much strength do i need, enough to wear massive or just to wear heavy, because i do not like how the heavy armor looks.
what is the second best dagger?
i'm not to partial to dwarves, i did play a noble once. i don't like that when you play a dwarf everyone looks down at you. kinda a personal issue. but if i get to it i'll try it.
