Why is Ashley considered racist, but not the other party members?

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I've been marathoning the Mass Effect series this week, and I just happened to notice that Ashley isn't the only one guilty of making racist remarks, but yet, she's the only one ever called out on it.

That's why I don't put up with the majority of their suggestions, its all about what they want and how they can get it and how hot Thane is.

Why is Ashley considered racist, but not the other party members?
Once again, it's not about just Ashley...but also pointing out the fact that other party members say racist things as well.

It's people like her who cause society to stagnate as they don't want change or to move forward.
That is just my opinion anyway.

More than any other squad mate, she talks about aliens.

That said, every now and then people will point out that say, Mordin has some offensive views about the Krogan, or that Tali is a Geth hating nut job or how Grunt is one slur away from being a hate crime committer.... but these pop up much less often and without the degree of irrational anger people give to Ashley.
Maybe it's because Ashley is a human, and hence her prejudice feels more real because while two fictional races lashing out against each other isn't a big deal, if a human does it, it can be connected to real world racism.
But all the same, I don't get why Ashley deserves the label 'Space N*zi' or to be labelled as 'scum'. Considering the two worst things she's ever done is voice concern about Foreign Nationals having access to the vital systems of the Normandy, and shooting Wrex when he was pretty blatantly about to shoot Shepard.
Most of the other stuff people accuse her of is either based on a total misunderstanding of what she was talking about (bear-dog analogy) or based on a line that was glitched and only ever meant to be triggered when near a Keeper (can't tell aliens from animals) or just basic projection onto her character. The same way people assume that because she's religious she must be Christian even though she makes no reference to Jesus or the Bible or anything to give off that kind of hint.
Considering the plethora of other things Ashley says and does to counter the notion that she's racist, happily volunteering to assist the Salarians on Virmire, opposing Terra Firma, hoping for improved relations with humans and Quarians, showing sympathy to Liara losing her mother and stating very plainly that she doesn't think humans are superior... it irks me that she gets insulted as being 'racist'. More so when I see other characters who have it far worse getting away with it.
But like I said, I imagine it could just be different to see two fictional races hate each other then it would to see a human do it. But then that's just a thought.

Replace "aliens" with "blacks", "jews", "asians" or any other race and it's pretty damn racist.

Zeely boy, what have I taught you?! Your post has to be inflammatory, and you know what? You're pretty good at that. Though, with all the caps, it looks like you care too much; A real troll is chillaxed while he pushes buttons. Where you're getting it wrong is that, even the most inflamed forumite will pause and say "lulwut?" at random comments like that, and it ruins the rage-cycle. You're doing okay, but listen to the Masters, and you'll be a one-troll wonder.

I sort of remember Miranda making pretty screwed up comments as well. I forget.
But you're right, you can even call out Mordin for it too, (I think it was like, "Do I detect some racism, doctor?")
Honestly, I think the only character in either game that doesn't say something incredibly ignorant or hateful, is Kaidan. He seems to be the most open minded and understanding of all the crew members.

Or how the geth slaughtered 99% of the quarian population during the Morning War after the quarians tried to shut them down.
What did the turians do to the humans? Attack one colony after a misunderstanding? Sounds like small potatoes compared to the history of genocide and war crimes the other races have committed against each other.
