lol, the only reason I'm asking is because you havent given me any. This entire time you've been putting out blanket statements, like 'She's a racist' without showing HOW she's a racist. I'm trying to get you to see that the whole argument against her is just the fault of a someone along the line misunderstanding what she said. It's based on nothing but misconceptions.

Ash isn't racist, or xenophobic. She is reluctant and slow to trust them, but she -does- respect them, etc. Admittedly, she's a bit too hesitant at the start of the game, but she gets over that pretty quickly.

Ashley's not a racist. A racist would usually maintain his prejudice, in spite of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Her prejudice, if you would even go so far as to call it that, is fairly limited and overcome without great effort, allowing her to form bonds of camaraderie and friendship with the rest of the (alien) crew. Same goes for the XO, even though he starts of with a far more prejudiced predisposition.
Furthermore, she is slow to trust people -in general-, not just aliens. (Even though she does have a certain bias against them, which, again, she overcomes pretty swiftly.)

i think it sums up this thread in general. the ashleylovers insist that everyone IS a lil bit racist, even the aliens, which is fair enough but ashley's critics invoke "The lady doth protest too much" arguement where she just digs herself deeper and deeper.

I'm neither honestly.  I hate Ashley because she's boring and even Horizon would've ruined my pereception of them if it were Garrus.
