No, they're pretty much identical. I've got a still-shot of the game in progress right now, and comparing it to this (http://images.wikia....an-Headshot.jpg), they're pretty much identical. Mainly the three round bits on their iris's.

Granted, I'm about half-way renegade atm, and I know that its hard to see detail through the glow once shep goes full renegade. As it is now, tho, you can clearly see the design.

I can't find a good screenshot of a half-renegade shep's eyes, but if you don't believe me, you can just look at the game.

a screen shot would be nice, it might just be an issue with image quality. on my full renegade playthoughs his eyes look like red cocentric circles surrounded by a narrow ring of his natural eye color.

on the transplanted one I can clearly make out the design even though I have a pretty strong glow coming from them.

also to answer the original post, I doubt the dermal reconstruction surgery would affect anything. it's basically scar reduction surgery to cover up areas where the cybernetics are visible, not to remove them.

that last one looks more similiar but reminds me of a radiation hazard label than the TIM's design. btw that is incedible image quality. what platform?

...damn. I have a 360. if the pc could work with a 360 controller, I probably would ditch my xbox and buy a gaming pc.

Well, if you have a wired controller, it should work and I've read about a USB antenna thingy that allows for a wireless controller to work, but I'd need to google that to be sure.

Edit: there's this thing, a Wireless Gaming Receiver, but it looks like it's no longer available.

I'm fine using my 360 :bandit:

Oh brother, i'm asking if the mod eyes will be transferred over to ME3 providing Shep and the gang survived the events in mass effect 2 or will he/she retain the normal eyes? Like this http://img717.images...7141/reiko1.jpg

@shadowhawk233 ... No one knows. I think only a dev would be able to answer that. My personal feeling would be no, the ME3 import will not take into account any 3rd party mods people have installed into ME2. But that's just what I assume.

TIM's eyes look so much better, hopefully bioware will improve this aspect.

Hah, I see what you did there. Even if it was unintentional.

For very little canon reason I've always considered all Sheps to have TIM's creepy eyes underneath a cosmetic human iris layer. No lock is safe from Shepard in ME2 because of the data analysis cybernetics.

Having a plot twist where the Lazarus Project cybernetics turn out to have Reaper origins would help the resurrection sub-plot make sense, so I'm all for it!

That was my first thought when i reed that TIMs eyes were blue because of some reaper thing. I'm sure he put some kind of reaper part inside shepard.

I like the red eyes and the scarring, it's also a nice nod to Saren although he was blue.

The soldier class brief description says; "High-level operatives are outfitted with ocular synaptic processors that allow them to focus on targets with lethal accuracy." so I doubt Shepard's eye implants are all THAT rare.

P.D: I know it wouldn't make sense to the rest of classes, I'm just saying that according to the lore eye implants are not that rare, they exist and are used by high profile operatives so Shepard's eye implants don't neccesarely have to do anything with TIM/Reaper tech.
