I KNOW there is no excuse.... Just cause their on the phone I demand Uncharted graphics with Skyrim's scope and Dark Souls gameplay.

The best thing about phone apps is that employees can take their phones with them and f*** off at work playing Angry Birds and Plants vs. Zombies (if they're cool like I am), and can quickly hide the phone from their boss when they walk by to "check up" on you - and I'll bet that's half the reason those little minigames are so popular.
And it's certainly a lot more stimulating than filing TPS reports all day (especially if your boss makes you come in of Saturdays - totally not cool).
