I have spent the last 2 hours searching the internet for this and I am at a loss. My default Bethany looks different from everyone else's and I can't get her to look the same.

From my understanding, this is what Bethany is supposed to look like throughout the game if you use the first preset, default Hawke.

The following is a screenshot taken from my very first playthrough, male Hawke default apperearance (preset 1), without a single mod installed.

Save Varric's first exaggerated story I cannot get Bethany to have the default hair, even though both Carver and Leanna look like the top version listed here:

This is REALLY starting to bug me so if anyone can provide an answer and/or a possible fix, please let me know.

It really shouldn't be a big deal. Your bethany looks identical to default beth, except she's not got curly hair.

Personally I like it ^_^

That being said, try posting this in the bug forum. Also, Are you running any mods that might be conflicting with each other? ... No wait you said you don't run any. hmm. Yep I got nothing. this is why I'm not a tech :)

Could you pretty please fix the formatting on your post? It's killing my eyes. And my eyes don't like being killed.

Try deleting everything out of Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age 2 > packages > core > override? If there's nothing in there I don't know what it would be.

Like I mentioned in my first post, I did not have any mods installed, therefore my override folder is already empty. It's not so much the actual hair that bothers me but the fact that I can't figure out why it's different.

Oh well, I thought there might be someone with a similar problem but evidently that is not the case.

Have yoiu tried install/reinstall?

Often such stuff comes from Installment issues.
