Well, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I knew that there was no chance of him being a LI so that's cool, but man he should just sack up and take control of the Blue Suns. Geez!

It was always pretty clear to me that he had no plans to retake the 'Suns.

Just sucks he can't join the squad again, especially when he's not even doing anything of note. I could use a little "dirtbag" on the team, they're a little too clean for my tastes right now.

Well it seems silly for Zaeed to offer to "get some of his buddies" to help Shep against the Reapers. I was like, really?! That would be swell to have 5 washed up mercs against e Reapers. Much better than having a well-oiled paramilitary group with their own armor, supply lines, weapons and shuttles. /sarcasm

Personally, I don't understand why people don't want Shepard to show some emotion. He/She's human, no one can bottle **** up forever and not expect to internally suffer from it.

Anyways, I hear that Shepard showing emotion is a choice for the player. *shrugs*

But I digress!

Noticed two things in the leak:

1. Zaeed is still bad ass, but he's no where near old enough to be considering retiring. Sheesh, look at Anderson!

2. VS is a **** who deserves to be Jessie'd to death.

So not a squad member? Expected. Though I had a little hope. That got jessie´d to death.

I wonder how big will the missions with the non-permanent squad members be, compared to "actual" plot missions. Mainly, the screentime Zaeed is given. Hope it´s more than a standard corridor shooting.

Zaeed had been mulling retirement some time prior to ME3, actually - his Shadow Broker dossier references it.

I'm not really sure how to feel about his role in ME3. I just don't feel that it does his larger-than-life character the justice he deserves. This is especially true for many of the supporting characters in the series, who all seemed to be gravitating towards roles that we [fans] anticipated, but which no longer seem to be the case.

Garrus *seemed to be gravitating towards a Spectre role. Miranda *seemed to be gravitating towards the role of Cerberus leader. We all know what role Zaeed seemed destined to fulfill, and it would be an excellent role for ME3's war effort.

That being said, this is still a relatively early leak, and I heard from a few other sources that Zaeed and Kasumi were once again getting their own DLC stories-- which was excellent in my opinion, because DLCs devoted to these characters tend to do them real justice than off hand remarks in the main game.

That would be excellent if they got more stuff through DLC. I always figured that his role would be light in ME3 since he was a DLC. They wouldn't give him too much heavy lifting since not everybody who played ME2 got the expansion pack with him in it (unlucky bastards). But it would make sense to give him an expanded role in DLC for those of us who paid for him the first time around. Dear BW, make the DLC a romanceable leader of the Blue Suns!
