That would be excellent if they got more stuff through DLC. I always figured that his role would be light in ME3 since he was a DLC. They wouldn't give him too much heavy lifting since not everybody who played ME2 got the expansion pack with him in it (unlucky bastards). But it would make sense to give him an expanded role in DLC for those of us who paid for him the first time around. Dear BW, make the DLC a romanceable leader of the Blue Suns!

Hell yeah I would support him as a LI he is strangely sexy.
But yes I don't think he have a big role in ME3 just a cameo but they can always add more to him maybe as a DLC like he was in ME2 and how Sebastian is in DA2

I will be glad enough if they conclude his story with the dignity he deserves. I wouldn't mind if he had one kickass farewell, fighting the reapers for Shepard. Maybe going out in a blaze of glory... As a hero. *sniff*

But in my wishful mind, I wish Shepard could tell him "Dude, don't worry about your retirement: you're staying with me and we'll kick asses forever." And so they do, and it's all awesome and beautiful...

God, I love Zaeed. He's the best male human character in the game. And on a personal note, the only one I would romance.

actually, I think miranda has an even higher survival rate than Zaeed. even though the in universe reason is probably her genetic engineering and training, the real reason is everyone would miss dat ass.

Zaeed was a great character. Top five Mass Effect characters... as long as the criteria is only on how much I liked the character.

Still, I get the feel that it's possible that he is a bad guy in Mass Effect 3. Not likely and purely speculative, but he is a mercenary who works for money. Although he would also be a well-rounding squadmate, especially on an Alliance ship as opposed to a Cerberus one. It would make him stick out just a bit more.

Still, whatever capacity they put him in at, I'm sure he would make a great returning character.

You'd think a character like Zaeed would be one of more important characters in ME2 due to the whole mercenary fixation but sadly he's not. They should have delayed it to better integrate him(Kasumi and LOTSB as well).

I'd like to see Zaeed back for a missing or two. I found him much more interesting than Kasumi.

I'd love it if there was a sort of catastrophe ending to ME3 where the reapers win. But Zaeed naturally survives the slaughter, writing down his adventures for the next generation of spacefarers to discover, appreciate and learn from.

how do I contact Bioware? an ending where every other living thing is dead, and the final scene is Zaeed shooting reapers out of the sky with a pistol as they flee in panic would be golden as an easter egg.

Ithe final scene should be Zaeed smoking in his study while behind him on the wall hangs a Reaper head. Awesome!

After not getting Zaeed for about 80% of my first playthrough, became either my favorite or 2nd favorite new squadmate.
He's not going to survive most of my playthroughs (I'm basing my other Sheps on my friends for diversity of playthroughs), but he's one of the people I LOVE having either in my party or listening to his crazy stories... kinda like Canderous and Mandalore from KOTOR.
Anyway, I REALLY hope Zaeed is more than a Fist/Helena Blake cameo in ME3. Temp squaddie AT LEAST please!!!
Now, excuse, I gotta get back to being a big, goddamn hero.

I think you do get him as a temp squaddie but only for a side mission. I think it has something to do with amassing "war assets". It would be an optional mission, but completing it would help with your overall number of allies. just my guess though.

I'm totally down with that.

Maybe BW can release a DLC pack down the road where your surviving squad members have another mission or two as playable?
