They did mention somewhere that Zaeed definately will be back for ME3, but no confirmation yet as to full squadmate status or not. *fingers crossed*

Zaeed being a full squadmate in ME3 would be a dream come true.

It would be so amazing if he was a full companion. Seriously, I would trade half of the other companions just for that.

I'd sacrifice most of the ME2 squadmates to the devil in exchange for him being a full squaddie in ME3.

I would give up Miranda, Jacob, Thane, Liara and maybe Kasumi for one full Zaeed. I would give up EVERYBODY for LI Zaeed.

Amen.

Zaeed was the real leading man in ME2 as far as I'm concerned and in my mind my femsheps romanced him.

Same here. Zaeed is perfect for Shepard.

*sigh* *goes back to read fanfics*

The top picture is one of my absolute favorites! It makes me go:

"Haha, Shepard's short." XD

But I also like the rage in it. Has anyone seen this one? Zaeed's reaction makes me laugh.

I don't know about half the squad mates, but I'll let Zaeed use a quarter of them for target practice if that's what he asks for in his contract.

JoeLaTurkey motivational equals win.

I always envisioned them as a bickering pair of "one-uppers". Some of the best fanfic on the subject takes this approach. As I stated before, my FemSheI let Vido go so she could punch him in the mouth as foreplay. Then lift a heavy thing off of him like a beast..a sex-crazed beast.

Yeah. I'm really drawn to Zaeed. You could call him my favorite squadmate.

They were all great though. Kudos to the writers.

Sorry if this was already discussed, but how did all of you handle Zaeed's Loyalty mission? Did you go after Vido or help the rig workers (and secure Zaeed's loyalty with the Charm option)?

When I played the mission for the first time, I thought there was only one way to get Zaeed's loyalty - go after Vido. Being a Paragon, I hated leaving the workers behind, so I developed a slight hatred for Zaeed (for causing civilians to die).
However, during subsequent playthroughs, I find myself always choosing the same path (going after Vido). I don't kill Vido just to satisfy Zaeed, I kill him, because my thinking is that by killing the head of Blue Suns, the organization may fall apart (then, there'll be one less merc organization for the galaxy to worry about).
(Oh yeah, and I not longer hate Zaeed - I've grown to like his character.)

Same here, he was a high profile mercenary leader behind many crimes and atrocities and the sacrifice of a few workers(some of which he already killed) was worth it to bring him down. It's also easier to do if you role play a Shepard who developed a bitter hatred against the Blue Suns after doing Garrus,Grunt and Jack's recruitment missions.

That and from a meta perspective getting his loyalty despite costing him his revenge is utterly ridiculous.

I usually go Paragon when I do Zaeed's loyalty mission, because the way the events play out seem like they have the most potential for character growth, or at least, the potential for a bond of trust between Zaeed and Shepard.

The way I see it, if you go Renegade and sacrifice the refinery workers, Zaeed is loyal because he's grateful to Shepard, but he probably doesn't trust Shepard with his life. If you sacrificed the civilians to stop Vido, you've showed Zaeed that you think causalities are acceptable. Since Zaeed always looks out for himself, he probably assumes that he'll have to watch his own back during the Suicide Mission, since Shepard does "whatever it takes" to stop the enemy.

But the Paragon route shows Zaeed he can trust Shepard with his life. It shows him that even though the mission might fail, Shepard will always pull everyone through... even Zaeed. As made evident when Zaeed is pinned by the metal beam, simply relying on himself isn't always enough. And even though he pulled a gun on Shepard, even though it would have been easier to leave him behind, Shepard still saved his life and treated him as one of the team. Zaeed might not be as grateful to Paragon Shepard as he is to Renegade Shepard, but I think there's still something to be said about the relationship between Zaeed and Paragon Shepard.

The Blue Suns wouldn't fall apart without Vido, he is the the behind the scenes power, that means he is easily usurped or in the case of his death, business goes on par usual. I save the civilians because I'm not going to sacrifice a bunch of people for revenge. Especially that way, being burned alive is a bad way to go.
