I see Earth being very off guard at all times. Who would attack the Human home world? BAH!
Damn cocky alliance.

I don't know if we will visit Noveria, but it is a good idea considering all the tech. I really think we will retreat to illos or activate an unknown relay to escape or something, maybe find and unknown civilization. Perhaps we will re visit zu's hope as a safe haven.

I hope we visit some awesome places and perhaps the lost city of another civilization long ago.

If you think about it, Eden Prime, one of the most known human colonies, had no AA GARDIAN canons, no spacecraft to protect it, and a unit called the 232 that consisted of a dozen of humans or so, protecting the beacon.

Exactly. The alliance is all build build build, but they are forgetting they have many adversaries whetear the galaxy pretends to like them or not.

But they still manage to be one of the most powerful forces in the galaxy....

There are some more clusters.

Anything from Me1/Me2?

To be honest, I don't get it. We have a huge fleet, armada, whatever you want to call it, but it is like they are never planet side or anything. It is possible that we are so busy at work building up our empire that none of our ships are gathered.

Well since the Citadel Cluster is above Tuchankas cluster, we know that is there. The very bottom right might be Sol, but compared to the other galaxy maps it is a little differently placed looking.

Noveria? Eugh I hated that place, if we didn't have to go down there in ME1 to talk to benezia I would've bombed it from orbit. 2,5 years is a long time though, is it too much to hope they've added some climate changing device and turned the entire planet into an ocean along with miles upon miles of sunny beach?

My link is FanArt. Of all the systems we know from ME1&2. It is missing a few though from DLC's and such. Just using it to help figure out which systems are which.

Above we see....

-Exodus Cluster: Eden Prime and Terra Nova (!)
-Horse head Nebula: Noveria (!!) EDIT: We may also visit Minuteman Station. A cerberus facility located there.
-Serpent Nebula: Citadel (confirmed, I believe)
-Crescent Nebual: Illium. (confirmed as well. A mission called "Conflic Zone" might take place there)
-Styx theta or Hawking Eta. (I dont really remember if there's anything important, there)
-EDIT: In Hawking Eta, Shepard found the derelict reaper. Possible key to the Reapers' destruction?
-Minos Wasteland: Invictus (That Turian jungle planet with the deadly virus...   remember?)
-The Shrike Abyssal or The Vallhallan threshold (faintly visible behind Crescent Nebula): Garvug and The Migrant Fleet were in The Vallhallan threshold in ME2. Probavly a flotilla-asociated quest there. The Shrike Abyssal hadonly a bunch of Volus planets. Nothing remarkable for now...
-New Location. (just a bit to the left of the Krogan DMZ. We dont know absolutly anything about it)

I found those by comparing the galaxy maps from both games. We dont know anything for sure and I think that we should threat this news as just rumors. Remeber that we are 9 months away from the release and anything can change.
Anyways, I am personally exited about Eden Prime and Terra Nova as well as Noveria. I think we did not see enough of eden Prime and as for Terra Nova, we only saw it from high orbit (bring down the sky). Noveria... I dunno... I just didn't have enough of that planet! heh!

So, what do you think? Big news right?:P

That new location sitting right to the left of the Aralakh System/Krogan DMZ is, I believe, turian space.  Codex information about the Krogan Rebellions reveals that the turians' space is located on the opposite side of krogan home space from the Citadel.  They were able to deal crippling blows to the krogans from their less defended rear.

This is also an area of the Milky Way Galaxy that has never been explored before in the previous two games.  I would go as far as theorizing that this cluster could contain the turians' home star system and their home planet of Palaven.

Ninmah? Interesting. It says "Investigate Rumors" hmm wonder what those could be.

Styx Theta was also the location of all the Rachni side-quests in ME1. Maybe we missed some and there will be more feral Rachni there? Bioware did say that you'd fight Rachni regardless of your decision to save/kill the queen, I believe.

Around 7:40 you can see an icy planet among the new locations that looks very much like Noveria, so I'm pretty sure we'll be returning there

Updated. No styx theta. Only hawking eta. There is a new nebula called Ninmah and it seems to be close to styx theta, at least.

Cool. Going back through the beginning to get to and understand the ending. I like it. Wonder how the makeover will look? Oh, has anyone heard any news about new hubs to land on?
