I've never killed Wrex so far, but his death is acknowledged in ME2, isn't it? I assume they can make it important in the third one since they don't have to worry about more tangents.
...I guess instead of "acknowledge" I should have written "impact". That's what really irks me. Choices and consequences. Dead squadmembers should result in consequences and not be absorbed by deus ex machina NPCs filling in the plothole they left.
Well Wreav is leaving the Krogans in their poor position while Wrex is performing massive reforms. This could have (I'm really sorry) MASS EFFECTS for ME3. Unified Krogans=army. Infighting Krogans=Reaper fodder. Though if the game is about uniting civilizations, and the Krogan are part of that, I doubt they will leave you with no choice if Wrex is dead.
