I've never killed Wrex so far, but his death is acknowledged in ME2, isn't it? I assume they can make it important in the third one since they don't have to worry about more tangents.

Ehh, that's right -but Wrex's death has zero impact on the world (he simply gets replaced by Wreav (or what's his name ?) doing essentially the exact same things a living Wrex does in ME2).

...I guess instead of "acknowledge" I should have written "impact". That's what really irks me. Choices and consequences. Dead squadmembers should result in consequences and not be absorbed by deus ex machina NPCs filling in the plothole they left.

Well Wreav is leaving the Krogans in their poor position while Wrex is performing massive reforms. This could have (I'm really sorry) MASS EFFECTS for ME3. Unified Krogans=army. Infighting Krogans=Reaper fodder. Though if the game is about uniting civilizations, and the Krogan are part of that, I doubt they will leave you with no choice if Wrex is dead.

I´ve got a hardcore pro-cerberus playthrough, with just Miranda and Jacob surviving...
I´ll maybe do the Morinth/Kasumi playthrough as well. But first, I have other combinations to try out ^^

I agree. Wreav and Wrex are very different. This is something I can see having a huge imapct in the story. It will probably have major repercussions in the fate of the krogans at the end of the game.  ME2 is a middle game, so not all the decisions in ME1 don't necessarily have to immediately be apparent in ME2.

I think having some squaddies die, or if they lived and weren't loyal, will have consequences. Maybe they screw you over somehow in ME3. I know if a few playthroughs, I wasn't able to get Zaeed's loyalty, and he let me know that he wouldn't forget that. Also, in one playthrough, Jack lived through the SM, but I didn't have her loyalty.

How's that a cheap shot? Well besides the laziness of replacement characters having the same exact dialogue if they do that, replacing characters isn't cheap.

Hmmm, Morinth...sense I don't plan on buying any ME2 DLC, I am going to have a team of Zaeed and Morinth survive at the end sense they are the least liking to come back as squad members for my do every super awful Captain Superman file

Just to clarify, this is Morinth

How did you keep thane alive and kill off everyone else but Morinth!?! O.o

EDIT: I mean, every time I try to keep thane and just a couple others alive... he either dies at the (guns, shields, cannons whichever it is that he dies at) ... so I have to upgrade it to keep him from dying there... which takes away a potential spot for someone to die and I always end up with at least 3 or 4 others alive. =/

I do have a playthrough for where each of them are dead and then for my 9th Shepard (who'll fill the Chaotic Renegade slot) I will have one where only Morinth is alive.

Yeah, probably worth checking out.
I hope that i get to play as Joker in a mechanical suit if i do let Shep and everyone else bite it at the end though.
That would be so fetch, or trim, or cream....never did understnad that last one.
God jennifer! Stop trying to make cream happen! Its not going to happen!
Shutting up now!

I have a save where only Morinth and Kasumi lived. Everyone else died.

So that's Ashley, James, and Liara as the only squadmates for ME3.

For laughs, I think I'll do my second playthrough on such a save. It'll be fun, but I hope that BioWare doesn't throw a cheap shot and replace characters with other characters just because they died, like how Wrex was replaced with Wreav when he dies. I want to see the impact of a character's death.

Can Kasumi die man?
are DL Characters like all glitched and invincible at the end?
If so, i am deleting her.

I believe picking her to lead the second fire team results in her death.

Yep....

SM chart

So...

Kasumi can die if you don't upgrade the shields and don't take her to the fight against the occulus (spelling?) on the normandy.

She can die in the vents if she isn't loyal or you choose someone as the fire team leader whose name isn't Miranda, Garrus, or Jacob or if they aren't loyal.

She will die as the second fire team leader loyal or not.

She will die if she isn't loyal when escorting the crew back to the ship.

She'll die in the final battle if she isn't loyal.

She can also die holding the line, depending on the numbers. lol
