1) Prothean vision is the most likely candidate with some shots of the mass relays.
2) Shots of Collectors and Keepers (maybe others too). Perhaps some reference to Ilos.
3) Shots of the different civilizations of the galaxy: turians, quarians, humans, salarians, asari, elcor, etc.
4) Shots of squadmates (allies and enemies could be interesting too).
5) Shot of Shepard alone (could be that scene at the end of ME2 where he stares at space searching for the Reapers).

50,000 years ago, the Protheans, the most powerful civilization in the galaxy, vanished without a trace. Their dying act was to warn those who would come after them of the cause of their demise: the Reapers. A race of sentient machines who had attacked from dark space using the very same technology that had become the basis for every other civilization in the galaxy: the mass relays.
The Protheans weren't the first. As with every other civilization before them, the Reapers repurposed them to become their instruments, their servants, their spies, to carefully monitor the state of the galaxy, until the time came for another civilization to reach its pinnacle... and meet its demise.
We are another civilization. Our time has come. And we're going to fight. Maybe we can't win this, maybe we'll vanish into the night as all who came before us. But we choose not to do so quietly. Our defiance will be heard, it will echo through the ages, and its ripples will embrace you. Another warning. Hopefully, the last.
What will you fight for? I don't know. I know what I'm fighting for: life, everywhere. I fight for our right to exist, to be, to transcend. People can be messy and awkward. They can sometimes appear selfish or cruel. But they are trying, and I want to give them that chance.
My name is Commander Shepard. I'm a Spectre. If you're listening to this, this is my message, my warning. The Reapers are coming. And when they do, you'll be there to stop them, just like I once did.
EDIT: I think this could be fitted into the game itself. On Shepard's darkest hour, when he thinks there's a chance they might not make it, he could probably record his own warning after the Prothean beacon in ME1. And maybe, at the end of the game, with the Reapers defeated, he might keep it, just in case.
