Hi,

I just recently purchased a used copy on Amazon and I can't register the game. I was, however, able to register it on the site. I already contacted the seller but I just wanted to check if there is another (easier and faster) way to fix this.

When I experienced this in the past with other games, someone from the forum actually got to fix it for me by resetting it for me so maybe I'll get lucky here.

If anyone can help me with this, please let me know.

Thanks a lot! :)

If you have registered the game on this site, then you have registered the game. You only need to register it once.

Thanks for the reply!

I registered the game on my profile but when I launch the game, it asks for the product key and I put the one I placed on the site and I always get this message:

The product key you provided:

xxxxxxxxxxxxx

has already been used to activate Dragon Age II. Please enter an unregistered product key to complete activation.

This was actually the first message I was getting and I went on this site to try it here and it worked but I'm still getting that message.

Are you using the same account in-game as you are here? If so, does your password contain any non-alphanumeric characters (anything but letters and numbers)? The game sometimes has issues with those.

For Dragon Age: Origins, yes. For Dragon Age 2 however, I can't seem to activate my game because I bought a used copy. Been trying to get into EA support chat but it keeps saying my username and password are wrong even though I know they're not.

Called them too but the hotline is closed.

That's because whoever owned it before you registered it to their EA account, contact EA support.

I got the same problem actually. My game I bought was never open but I also bought it the same way. It registered it on this site now it wont let me play it for the same reason youretacky said.
