I have had Stone Prisoner downloaded and installed since launch, and I am just now getting curious as to why I can't see the location on my world map. I have disabled/enabled the DLC and restarted the game, but it still doesn't show up. I'm pretty far into the game (lvl 16) so I would think that I'd have noticed it by now if it was on my map.
Any help?

go to the caravan tile to the left of Redcliffe. It should be highlighted yellow instead of cream. The merchant there will give you a rod and tell you where to go.

The only tiles to the left of Redcliffe are Ruined Temple and Village of Haven. And the only caravan tile I see is to the SW of Brecilian Outskirts, but it's already greyed out because it was from a chanter board quest I did earlier. Is there a way to re-install Stone Prisoner?

Many are having this problem where both DLC's do not work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled DA:O twice and both times it gave me the quests but the quest users do not add the map marker... Nice to know there are many have this problem and instead of patching and fixing it they release a new DLC...

You have to get a quest from talking to one of the towns people to go find a lost caravan I can't remember for sure where I got the quest though. After you get the quest then the caravan square shows up on your map. I think it may have been Ostagar maybe Red Cliff

Hopefully it wasn't Ostagar or Lothering. Lothering has a big skull on its tile now, so I can't go back there. I think Redcliffe chanter board sent me to go look for a caravan, but it was over by Brecilian Outskirts...

O.K. Played for too many hours staight while I was home sick with the flu.  Every thing was running togeather in my head. Should have DLC from the beginning.  It shows up as a gold colored square near the mage towers and once you go there and get the control rod from the merchent then the next gold square shows up on the map go there and complete the quest to get the golum. If you don't have the firt gold square something is wrong.

So did anyone find any solution for this problem? I installed Stone Prisoner but when I start the game I dont have any quest. Ive started playing DAO again after like a year and didnt have a problem with that before. But now Stone Prisoner is just refusing to work - no quest, nothing on the map. I even reinstalled the game like 4 times, tried different versions, installed ONLY Stone Prisoner, but still nothing. Any help would be really appreciated

I think someone else was having this problem not too long ago, so I will paste what I said before:

Did you manually install it? I'll assume from your registered game content tab under your profile. They only have a link for one of the files you need for Stone prisoner, the other file (called the offer file I believe) does not have a link there. You can find the corresponding offer file here:

The DLC will not work without the offer file. As I downloaded only the one link myself and found out Stone Prisoner was not working ingame. Then I downloaded the offer file and next time I loaded up my game it gave me the quest update. Hope this helps!

as you have the ultimate version, you should already have this and all DLC files...

Try forcing the DLC to reinitialize itself.
* Go to the Game’s Main Menu
* Go the Installed Content Tab under Downloadable Content
* Find the DLC you are having problems with on the list of DLC.
* Clear the checkmark next to the DLC to disable it.
* Go back to the Main Menu and load your last save. When it gives you a message about DLC being disabled, Force Load the save.
* Make a new save with the DLC disabled.
* Exit back to the Main Menu
* Go back to the Installed Content Tab
* Click the empty square next to the DLC to get the checkmark back and reenable the DLC.
* Load the new save you made.

Everyone who cannot get these following DLC's to work-
(i.e for them not working properly, stone prisoner refuses to show up in your journal and Honneleath is not on the map, or for Warden's Keep (Soldier's Peak Quest) Levi Dryden the merchant who has "been following you, so if you set up camp he could catch up", refuses to show up to the camp no matter how many times you make camp.)

The Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, The Darkspawn Chronicles, Leliana's Song, The Golems of Amgarrak, Feastday Gifts, Feastday Pranks and Witch Hunt require the corresponding offer files to work. [/b]The installation procedure for offers is the same as that for any other DLC.

Therefore, you need to go here to this site http://dragonage.wik...ontent_(Origins) [b]scroll down to where it says offer file for <insert DLC name here> (example: DAO_PRC_OCP_1 - Offer file for Return To Ostagar), (just above the External Links section, and you need to SAVE the offer file of whichever one you need to work.) Then, when it is saved, go into your Local Disk > Program Files > Dragon Age > bin_ship > then launch your daupdater application, select those .dazip files I had you save, then click install and let it install. JUST like you would the normal DLC. After that, it should be working perfectly fine!!

ye i would like to know this too tryed eveything above to get stone prisoner to work i can get shales items in game but the gold map icon want apeare

Thank you SO much Seekar! I had tried everything and nothing worked before.
My "Offers" folder was empty, but after installing those files my DLCs now appear in map!

THat method no longer working :-( I have reinstalled twice and tried many things and cannot get Stone prisoner or return to ostagar on map since about a week ago. My available content tab stays blank now but I installed all I bought or got free with collectors edition manually. I do get the crytals dropping though.
