Anyone else feels as if their intelligence is being insulted lately by what EA / Bioware produce?

PS: If this is a duplicate thread then please be so kind as to direct me to it instead of being a jackass about it. \\

Now I don't mind big breasts myself but this is just getting ridiculous.

I'm gonna get downright vitriolic of we have any more boob bashing on this site. Been a fan since I was 12. Bioware isn't overdoing it. Let it be.

I do not get it, when bioware doesn't show any breasts and butts, people complain that you can chop off a guys head, watch the blood sprikle from his neck but you can't see anything past cleveage.

The one thing they are doing right with the females in the game, is making them obviously able to see easier they are female. I for one, welcome this new change and call for cleveage to be shown in Mass Effect.

Yeah, obviously they used the "right angles" when they shot scenes featuring Miranda so that we, players, can easily see that she is female.

I have no problem with it. Now if I start seeing women all as busty as say Bethany or anyone from DA2 then I'll be annoyed.

No. But I question the intelligence of anyone who expects them not to use every trick they have to sell their game.

They could always be indulging themselves like this. Give the artists some slack here. Celebrating the female form doesn't equal sexism or pandering. 

Edit: Sorry op, I don't mean to be obnoxious. I'm an artist and I run into this issue a lot in real life.

The Witcher 2 contains more nudity and sex advertised the game (naked Triss calender anyone?) so this is really nothing compared to The Witcher.

I hope this doesn't get removed for being inappropriate but this did happen in The Witcher:

I remember I was walking along in The Witcher and some woman said that she would allow me to anal her on the rock nearby if I got her a ring. I declined. Seriously, Geralt hadn't even said anything and this woman was trying to throw herself at him and he's quite ugly too, I think this woman was in some village as part of a quest with midday wraiths or something? Sorry, it's been a while since I played this game and I only played through it once, so I can't remember everything clearly about the game but I remember this.

Mass Effect 3 can have increased boob size for female characters but I doubt it will have random women throwing themselves as Shep, so I couldn't really care.

I am not that big of an ass/****** guy. I don't really pay that big attention, I like to look at nice tummies though. I suppose I am strange in that regard. But, even after it's brought up, I don't really mind.

Sex sells, but I still feel a bit objectified when I see the way women are portrayed in video games. It just puts me off to see the way womens' body parts are exploited.

I know the questline and no she never said ANAL. And Geralt is a witcher a famous one at that. The girl is jealous her sister was getting married to a merchant who bought her some huge ring and has some money and has a secret lover. She was feeling ignored so she told Geralt to get her a big jewel and she would sleep with Geralt and show him off. 

This led to to the death of both sisters becoming wraiths. You end up having to break the curse either by killing them outright but the girls souls would never find rest or you could get them to look in a mirror to see themselves in their true forms so both sisters would forgive each other and find rest.

So don't say it's just there to please people. Yes there are women who sleep around in Witcher but you have to find it. Also CDProjekt doesn't attempt to downplay it anyways.

Every woman sleeps around in the game, I was surprised that the old woman didn't offer themselves to Geralt! The witch offers herself, Shanni offers herself, Triss offers herself, wh*res are about for Geralt, that dwarf offers to take Geralt to a brothel once you get drunk with him and that bard (which is part of the story if I recall correctly) and then there's those lesbians nuns who offer themself to Geralt when a siege is going on.

The gravity-defying high riders aren't "the female form."  The ME pantsuit chicks are only slightly less ridiculous than the pic I snipped from your post.

Of course, it's a taste thing.  I find those plastic women crass and not beautiful, just as I prefer a slightly hairy and somewhat muscular man to the airbrushed, fully ripped, oiled up sorts.  On the other end of the spectrum, waifish and childlike women and androgynous man-boys are not my thing either.  To each her own I guess.  ME and DA are moving in the wrong direction as far as my aesthetic taste goes, so I'm with the OP in thinking it's kinda sad.

Like I said, I don't mind breasts and asses but it's becoming a major focus nowadays in Bioware games. I barely even looked at Isabella's face because I was staring at her rack most of the time not because its artfully done but because it's right there in YOUR FACE. Same goes for Miranda's bottom. They provide too much emphasis to these body parts rather than facial emotions for example and now we have Liara and Ashley coming up in ME3 with bigger breasts than they used to have.

I always felt that putting busty women in video games was exploitative towards straight men and lesbians, "it's saying our game isn't that good so we're going to cater to your hormones to get you to play it." It's like going to strip clubs, I've never seen the point to it, what's the point of looking at naked women if you aren't going to do anything with them?

I prefer to have my ego catered to, my id shouldn't be allowed to influence my decisions.

I don't believe huge fake stripper boobs = beautiful, however.

An incredibly huge codpiece perhaps? A slider for that would compliment one for breasts.

But in all seriousness, Jacob already was in a skin-tight suit. Thane was designed to be attractive. All we need is a companion who spends most of his time shirtless in his quarters now. Maybe catch someone in the shower?
Slow camera movement over clothed or unclothed muscles works too. Butt shots are always nice. I wouldn't mind seeing a guy with as little clothing as Jack had. Oh my...
