There are a lot of desperate people out there in society. They'll take any edge they believe they can get.

Same as power bracelets, breast milk, rich princes who need accounts for their money, AbToners, Goat weed and snuggies.

The trick is finding something no-one else has, milk it for all its worth for a few months, cash in and sell it on as the next big thing before it all comes crashing down.
