What if for example on that mission at the end we can ask Mordin to join us and help or allow him to stay on his home world and fight there. Would be pretty sick.

We would only be allowed so many characters though so we'd have to choose. Could be worth achievment points. "Recruit Mordin" Which means there would be more multi playthrough achievments.

It's likely characters such as Mordin, Garrus, or Grunt will want to help in the defense of their homeworlds, so they won't be sticking around for long. On the other hand, Liara is now the Shadow Broker, so she has a bigger commitment towards the galaxy and may stay with Shepard longer. Naturally, the human squad mates will see the events of ME3 through to the very end.

Obviously, each temporary squadmate is so for a reason. Mordin and Wrex, for instance, have to take care of the last fertile krogan female.

Sigh. I wish I could just open the cargo bay and space Ashley/Kaiden already. They are so annoying being xenophobes about everything and being so hardcore alliance.

I feel though Garrus will stay with you as he was your teammate since ME & we saw him in the demo on the Salarian home world.

Yes, but what If at the end of that mission you get to snag one of them up?

If I had to choose between my squadmates, the order of preference of saving would've been the following:
* Liara
* Garrus
* Anybody else.

^ Yeah. That'd be neat - especially since he's a rarity having been with you since the beginning, but I don't think it'll be or should it be that simple as to just asking him to "leave his Pavalen" (?) just like that since he'd wanna help his fellow Turians. IOW, I would want a consequence regarding if he stays at home or comes with you. If he stays, either the Turians survive or not, but if he goes with you, chances are they may not. I'm not saying that Garrus is the be all, end all of the Turian race, but Shepard is pegged as savior of the galaxy. That's an immeasurable amount of pressure on both people.

In other words, the choice should be up to him. As much as I want Miranda with me, the choice should be up to her if she comes along. It's highly likely or wishful thinking, but I'll have enough choices to make anyway.

Just a thought.

Well if we're talking about permanent squad member's I'd want Miranda for combat effectiveness alone. She is the only character to have both Warp and Overload meaning she can handle any type of protection whereas all of the other characters can deal with 2/3 of them at best. Then I always brought Grunt because he basically never died and could set people on fire/was good for armor.

The story is gonna be there for all the characters that it need be, so basically I just want the people who are going to get the job done for me. Miranda is that person.

I'd like if we could choose who can join us. I'd like it even more if that means we have to kick someone off.


I love Tali, but I pretty much never use her. Anywhere. She can go steer the Migrant Fleet whilst I snap up Legion and Thane.

Yeah i agree with that. Though i know i'll probably pick Tali anyway for story reasons even though Legion can do everything she can and more.

I'd like to be able to pick from the "extras" (ME2 squadies that aren't permanent, i.e. tali, garrus ect) such as thane, samara, zaeed, jack ect.

you could pick x number of these people to add to you ME3 squad i.e. Ashley, Liara, Tali, Garrus, Vega ect.

As a predominately soldier Shep, I played ME1 with Liara and Tali all the time. Being able to do that again makes me happy.

I think some squad members may depend on choice, bu I want at-least on rogan team mate wouldn't feel like mass effect without one of them.

You asked yesterday if there was anything that I actually agreed with you on? Well, strap yourself in and mark your calender.
After reading some of the posts (supernatural elements, reaper squadmates, playing while indoctrinated) I have to ask, where the hell can i get a few kilos of whatever drugs some of the forum posters are on?

Zeel wasn't making a joke, he's just, well, odd. that post is pretty much an example of all of his posts and has earned a reputation as a troll, he also has an odd dislike for tali (the dislike isn't odd (I'm certainley not a fan of her) just how he goes about calling those who like her various names and insults)
