So I'm nearing the very end of origins, and my character has a relationship with Alistair. I've managed to kill Loghain and now my character and Alistair are engaged. However - problem is I didn't accept Morrigans ritual, thinking that the third Grey Warden would sacrifice himself. Welp, the game threw me for a loop and the third warden is dead already. I figured I would just go into my old saves and start before I denied Morrigan, but the only saves that it shows I can load from the menu all take place after the final battle has started.

Is there any possible way I can access my previous saves so that I might be able to fix this situation? Maybe from the bioware folder? If so any advice/help/etc would be much appreciated. Would be nice to figure out if I've screwed myself over or not.  <_<

Reliable saves cannot be conjured. If you have deleted or over-written saves from 'before' there's not much you can do about it, for that Player Character.

Creating previous saves out of thin air is probably not going to happen, but you might be able to identify and correct the misfired flags using the dev console. Directions areon the wiki.

Alrighty, well thanks. Looks like I've pretty much screwed myself for this one. Oh well, more reason to play through again hah. ;) Thanks though!

If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7, you *might* be able to recover ghost copies of your old saves by going into the save folder in Documents\\BioWare\\DragonAge\\Characters and right clicking on them to select properties then looking for recoverable previous versions (far right tab). Not that playing again is a bad thing...
