It's my favourite comic book series ; main authors are Sfar and Trondheim ; they haven't put out an album in years so I'm a bit frustrated ! I was thinking about it because Dragon Age's Isabela reminds me of one of the characters (to some extent). There are about thirty albums and I believe only a few have been translated into English but if you understand French and like good fantasy I say go for it !

It's originally a rather humorous series about a Dungeon master and his minions but it can get dark/philosophical/romantic depending on the situations and albums (the artstyle changes quite a lot too which gives each album a unique tone).

It's divided into several sub-series (three timelines plus a series dedicated to secondary characters and their implication in the main plot). They don't put out albums chronologically to mess with the audience and let them imagine what happens in-between albums, fill the holes later on.

I guess I'm talking about it with the hope that it will somehow trigger a new album, though I was curious as to whether some of you forumites know about that series.
