If my Shepard isn't dead, he's going to start an outreach program to other space gays who were afraid for an entire two games to say anything.

Shep and Kaidan will travel the galaxy as a team doing what they do best. I see them as staying together as a power couple, not sitting around sipping fruity drinks on some retirement paradise. They are both too driven and adventure-seeking to stay put. Kaidan did say he prefers adventurous women.

Take the Normandy, welcome on board Ashley, Garrus, Grunt (I'd invite Wrex but I feel he's better off as a leader to his people), Kasumi, James Vega, Tali, Samara, Jack, Mordin, Thane and Legion and then travel the galaxy in search of adventure much like Malcolm Reynolds in Firefly.
Ashley and I are both spectres so it would make sense to travel looking for adventure and action. It will be action packed AND romantic.

He will go to Kar'Shan, kill the batarian leader and make it open to the galaxy. Then he will have a nice cup of tea with Liara and have relations with Ashley - all night long - to celebrate victory over the Reapers.

Slowly walk to the top of the Reaper homeworld as the Reapers return from the Milky Way.While walking to the top my Shepard will hear the voices of hundreds he betrayed.Then he'll put his N7 helmet on......and wait to lead the Reapers in their next cycle.....

Vanessa will spend some time helping in reconstruction, and during this time will also gladly hang up her weapons and settle down with Liara. Marriage and blue babies. It's up in the air on how long Shepard will live, but she'll live every day like she stole it (since really, she has.)

Thomas will likely also step down from the military, and focus full time on using the Normandy as a mobile base of operations for relief efforts and civil defense if need be, Spending time on the move, helping people who need it. It's a good life he and Tali can enjoy together.

Lyra will likely let Kaiden sweep her off her feet, and play things by ear from there. She's always been one to wink and grin before taking on the future at a run.
