My Shepard will probably retire on some distant planet.
His life is probably going to be boring so he will each day create mini-Reapers just to kill something.

My paragon Shepard will more than likely continue his work as a Spectre. He is undecided on if he will take assignments from The Alliance, but he will continue to help out Admiral Hackett and Councellor Anderson whenever they need. They were among the few who continuously believed and helped him throughout everything, and he considers them good friends. He will also spend some time with his LI. (still undecided at this point)

But this will probably be after a much needed vacation. But afterwards, he will don his iconic N7 suit again.

Possibilities:

(1) Shepard will take the Normandy for his own, then travel through the galaxy telling the true story of the war, thus undermining the Council's efforts to sweep all the ugly truths under the rug. He will not allow the people their "gleeful delusions of peace" any more. In between, he retreats to Chasca to spend time with his life partner Miranda aka The Illusive Woman or visits her on her space station.

(2) Shepard and Miranda will lead a big expedition into the unknown regions of the galaxy. Maybe they'll found a new colony, maybe they'll have children (yes, technology will make that possible), maybe they'll just live their lives out on the liveship that's the center of the expedition, but however it goes, Citadel space will never hear of any of them again.

Seriously though, I expect some kind of big celebration or something, that is, if I learn the magic formula to "beat the game with a victorious solution".
And there had darn well better be one, I'm going to very disappointed if the game ends with Shepherd dead and the galaxy annihilated......
