I like the PC but then, I was never a console player and my Shep would probably shoot himself in the foot if I had to control him via gamepad :).

Can you transfer saves between platforms? If not, you should definitely stick with what you used before.

I know somewhere on here I've something about Xbox-PC conversion.

Not being able to import your saves sucks. Go PC or go home (and get ME1 for PC).

OP, do you realise you can import your save in Mass Effect? Why would you play the three on different platforms? That's ridiculous.

If your PC can handle it play all three on that, as obviously it looks a hell of a lot better and you can customise the software to your liking. If you don't, buy it on 360. It originated there and all three games will be present. Playing only two on the PS3 is only jipping yourself. Plus, your private details won't be leaked to the world....lol.

The PS3 version of ME2 is buggy as a well bug. I can't see it being any better for ME3 because the PS3 still won't like the Unreal Engine. It wasn't built to be used on that console and it simply doesn't work, that added with the fact that Bioware simply don't care enough to fix big issues, only small stupid ones like who's face appears in the photo. Yep that really helped me finish the game, not. PC is better but my main character is still on the 360.

I got ME1 for 360, soooo everything else is on 360. Wish I got it on Steam, though.

Xbox 360 for Achievements, Controls, and Kinect features
PC for Mods and Graphics
PS3 for... Trophies?

Personally I perfer the 360 but I say it's a toss up between PC or 360

Xbox and PC can transfer their save files between each other using the modified Gibbeds save game editor. Not to mention be able to change various ME1 plot flag states for quick and easy lpaythuogh changes.

People who played both console and PC almost always prefer the feel on console.

First I've ever heard such a notion. I've played both and it's vastly better with mouse and keyboard, in my opinion. Not to mention all the other obvious advantages of the PC.

Yeah, the aiming and fluid use of squad/Shepard powers with the hotkeys is far better on the PC than what I've experienced in the PS3 version.

You guys are on crack! JK =] I should of specified 360.

I've played on PC and Xbox and I can't stand the PC. I find moving around with the mouse and keyboard to be incredibly fiddly compared to the ergonomically designed Xbox Controller. Admittedly I've only played on the PC a couple of times to help my Dad out but I felt completely at sea most of the time even playing on Casual.

I'm also quite looking forward to ordering the squad around on Kinect :)

360, as that's where my saved games are.

I sit in front of a PC all day long at work. The last thing I want to do is sit in front of another PC when I get home. With the 360 (or PS3), I can sit on my couch and play in front of my big arse tv.

As it is, we have 2 laptops, 2 XBox 360s and a PS3. Really nothing is played on either laptop, despite one being brand new. 17" screen versus 55". That's an easy choice for me.

This is all down to personal preference. Personally I used to be a PC gamer but got tired of things like compatability issues and increasingly worse DRM so I switched to consoles and after years of playing on them I generally prefer the controls with the only real exception being RTS.

As for the OP I'll be playing on the 360 as that is where I started the series. If you care about transfering your save you can transfer your saves between Xbox and PC as others have said, so it would boil down to which control scheme you prefer.

First Xbox, then I might pick it up for the PC if I find it cheap somewhere.
