Shooters? On consoles? Bahahaha...
what next? You'll buy Battlefield 3 on that too?

Yeah I prefer shooters myself on PC but ME has a very nice console feel to it if you play it on 360. (I'm guessing PS3 as well.) Maybe it's because it's not a FPS. BF3 will be better on PC, articles mentions this.
I'm non-bias. I love both console and PC gaming. I don't like how a lot of PC games are getting "console-like", though.

I just think it's more comfortable playing on a console... sit on your couch and use a handheld controller...PC gaming is annoying to me (even though graphically better) b/c A) I hate keyboards B) I'm too close to the monitor C) Don't like the mouse feel ... it's all a bit too inconvenient... I have a 360 and I find no issues with it..

I have discovered on my cheap xbox mass effect pick up, that shooters on xbox are really awkward and un responsive - even with the additional assistance with auto-aim etc.

So I'll stick to games that have those shooter elements on PC, and keep the platformers and games like fable on the console.

As an aside, I do have a new found respect for people who are able to become excellent at shooters on console, because it takes more ability to adapt that level of awkwardness and counter it somehow. So to the gamers on console, I salute you.

Xbox 360, then later PC.

okay, serious question here: Why both? Are you a PC gamer at heart and thus get it on Xbox first just cause your computer isn't nice enough? (I've done that a couple times) If not, I'm curious as to why.

Good question.

I am an Xbox gamer at heart and the 360 is where I play Mass Effect and my other titles. However, recently I found ME1 dirt cheap for PC and bought it up. At some point in the foreseeable future I will get ME2 and then later on ME3. There is no real reason for this other than the fact that I plan to replay the trilogy on PC once I'm done with it on the 360, so you could just call it being a loyal fan. In any case, the 360 remains my main gaming platform one way or another.

:) Its like the opposite of I.

I get them all on PC as pre-order collector editions, then pick 'em up in sales and bargain bins on xbox. Do that with a lot of games.

Its nice to know I'm not alone....well...kind of.

Chalk up another vote for the PC here, the ability to play ME 3 at a native 1080p and 60fps is a must.  I am also a keen fan of the mouse and keyboard and could not possibly imagine playing ME 3 with a joyplad.  Then there is the ability to record and edit game footage, some thing I find just as much fun as the game.  Not to mention the mods that are available to the PC that enable PC gamers to erm "correct" certain oversights on Bioware's part.

Fair enough, controllers don't suit everyone

PC because it's more convenient and comfortable for me.

Although tempted to pick it up for the 360 too, just to "complete the set". Trouble is I don't know whether I'd play it on that platform all that much - maybe to see what this kinect is like. Poor ME1 360 box has been sitting on the shelf ever since it was released on PC...

PC.

Even with a mid-range PC or a powerful laptop, you can get 60 fps on the game (assuming you're using 720p)

Absolutely.

Plus, my 360 is hooked up to a 42" HD TV with 7.1 surround sound via a dedicated amplifier.  My PC has a much smaller  monitor and a much inferior sound system.

No contest :)

PC games in my opinion should be exclusive to point and click adventures like Diablo or Dungeon Siege... I consider Mass Effect a playable movie and I hate watching movies on a computer screen... It's much better on TV :-)

Very interesting. I feel like a n00b now for only owning ME1 and 2 on PC lol

Xbox 360 is my console of choice.
I have a great PC but, I just can't play PC games. I can't use a keyboard to play at all. I'm more acurrate with a mouse but I prefer a stick for movement.
In short: I own with a controller and fail with a keyboard/mouse.
