I want to make a green dragon, gold dragon or red dragon, so Each dragon encounter is different visualy.

Changing skin color to green in the selected creature resource option doesnt do anything, the dragon is still default color??

The quickest and most reliable way is just to do it as re-textures. BGR is having a hell of a time at the moment trying to get multi-part creature retints to work properly. I covered this approach almost a year ago in this thread.

Be aware that whilst apr_base is fine, I think the various heads GDAs suffer from the high ID bug, which I vaguely alluded to in that thread. In that case you'll want to keep your head ID under 255. More info here.

Thanks anywayz.. but that all sounds very complicated to me, a simple tutorial from start to finish on how to change a monsters color with the toolset would be more helpfull to newbs like myself.

Why cant the bloody toolset just change the color with one click like it says in the resource skin color>green OK! nope!

You can get it to do that with tints, but to do so requires even more GDA editing plus texture work for the creation of tint maps. A re-texture is quicker and easier, and (in some cases at least) more reliable.
