I've done five playthroughs of Mass Effect 1 & 2, and on most of those I've purposely had different sets of living comrades.

On my first playthrough, Thane and Zaeed died.  On my fourth playthrough, I killed every single alien (Xenophobic Paragon, that was fun).

My question to you guys is this, will they be dead in ME3?  I wouldn't have thought of this question if it weren't for Dragon Age 2 deciding for me that Zevran was alive and well.

On that note, WHO DID YOU GUYS KILL IN MASS EFFECT 2 8D 8D 8D

Shep is the only space zombie allowed.
As for who I killed, noone and everyone, including Shep.

They say that certain crew embers will be available, if they survived the suicide mission.

On that note, I got the "No One Left Behind" achievement, which was actually a ******-easy achievement.

I'm almost positive the Zevran thing was said to be a bug.

On the other hand, killing Justice didn't help Anders one bit, so that does concern me.

However, characters in ME1 that died didn't show up in ME2, so I'm not too worried about it. They are made by different teams, after all, and DA2 was obviously rushed.

I should hope they stay dead... disintegration seems a permanent sort of thing.

However, should they somehow not stay dead in ME3... just remember the cardinal rule.. as soon as you see 'em,

Fair point.... but I'm still shooting 'em in the head if I see any dead members come back... can't risk it. :innocent:

I know why OP has his doubts regarding this. BW showed us that dead people can return (not talking about Shepard) ;).

In fact, do it mob style. One in the chest, one in the head. If they still get up and walk. Take off, and nuke the site from orbit.

It's the only way to be sure ;)

I have no doubts that anyone whom died during the Suicide Mission will stay dead, I am curious though if certain people if not recruited end up dead/non appearing... ala the Wrex non-ME recruit scenario in ME2.

Its just interesting to note that in some of the game play they have shown off, Mordin plays a really big role.

He is killable, I just hope that he stays dead in any playthrough where he did die.

That being said, shooting them in the head is an A-Game idea if they do come back!
