I picked up the PS3 version recently and I'm going through on Insanity for the fun of it. I'm around 25hrs In and I'm trying to get all the trophies in one playthrough, which shouldn't be too difficult with all the DLC, but I forgot to romance someone and I need that trophy...
Mainly due to the rediculous load times on the PS3, I just never felt like sitting through a 52 sec load screen just to get to engineering after each mission. Now I have recruited everyone apart from Legion and Kasumi and done all loyalty missions apart from Legion, Kasumi and Jack. I'm trying to romance anyone now... I've done one bit of dialog with Miranda after tthe last mission I did... but is it too late? Will I be able to max out the relationship before I go through the Omega 4 relay? I still have the IFF mission to do too.
I'm not sure how it works when they tell you to come back later. Does it apply to your characters lvling up? I have all the DLC missions left to do, so aslong as I have access to a new line of dialog after each of those I should be able to do it. But I'm not sure if you can only progress after team-mates recruit/loyalty missions.
So a few questions. Do I have time with what I have left? Will I be able to progress with her after DLC missions? and how many times do you have to speak with Miranda in total (picking the romance dialog options obviously) before you're maxed out and ready to go through the O4 relay?
Any advice would be great, I DO NOT want to go back 3hrs just to start talking to her lol.
Oops... Is it too late to romance?

Telling you to come back later means you have to go away and do some form of mission first. Wether its a Loyalty mission, side quest, or main mission, it doesnt matter, just go out and do something.
I think 4, maybe 5 times you have to speak to your chosen LI to get them to jump your bnoes before you head off into the great unknown.

Oh right. I was worried that doing missions for teammates progessed it. I remember when It was released, on my first playthrough I was trying to romance someone and it kept telling me to come back even though I just did a mission, but maybe its because it was quite early in the game.
Hopefully now I'm at the business end I'll get an option everytime I get back from doing something. Thanks Bog
