Mages aren't the only ones breaking the game.  Your rogue can too!  Grab four ranks of stealth and start chucking those Acid Flasks and Fire Bombs.  You're a winner!

Afraid you'll be detected by that big, bad orange creature? No problem! Send your ranger pet after him and then clear your aggro with stealth! Even if you're detected the next second, he'll stick to your pet. Just be ready to summon the next pet from a safe distance and hit the "I Win" button again!
