I saw those star trek episodes...but ME loves to stress "hard science".
Since when? When has ME ever shown any real signs of being 'hard science'?

In ME1 it was billed as being hard science. They said everything they were doing was in some way based on what science at the time says is possible.

This is the same guy who gives praises to DA2 story, but belittles ME story. Epic fail.
He praised DA2 story?
You almost made me watch his DA2 plot analysis.

Mass Effect broke away from "hard science" the moment the Normandy entered the mass relay and when Shepard found the Prothean beacon on Eden Prime.

Here are my issues with Smudboy and this video especially. @ 2:08 Smudboy says the Omni-Blade does nothing, and then proceeds to ONLY show the one time that the Omni-blade wasn't an insta-kill
1. We don't know what difficulty the game was set to.
2. We see several one-hit kills with the Omni-blade in several ME3 E3 demos
@2:38 Smudboy picks apart Jesse Houston saying the omni-blade is a "holographic switch-blade", picking it apart in the literal sense.
1. Jesse used switch-blade in the way that its a melee weapon that isn't always out and ready
@3:07 Smudboy picks apart the Logo graphic of Shepard pulling out the switchblade, bickering about which arm the omniblade is on, and most ridiculously, "the sharp edge coming out" as if an energy weapon might have a dull and sharp side like some knives in real life.
@3:43 Smudboy asks why all classes have an omni-blade.
Developers have said that each class will have its own close range combat skill.
@5:43 Jesse says that they brought a new weapon, the frag grenade. Smudboy then shows ME1 footage of shepard shooting the ME1 "grenade". If you follow the footage of Jesse talking more, he says that its new because it's a ballistic grenade that can bounce off walls, rather than just stick to any surface.
@5:58 Smudboy makes similarities of the "grotesque violence" of Gears of War to Mass Effect.
1. There is no gratuitous gore coming out of enemies in Mass Effect.
2. Shattering frozen enemies has been in Mass Effect since the original.
And then towards the end, Smudboy basically says that all the ME marketing is just "OMG Button awesome happens" compared the finesse of Deus Ex 3, but leaves out the Trailer of ME3 with Big Ben sniper, and the fake live action trailer of news reporters being attacked.
All of this just cements Smudboy as a 2D troll with too much time on his hands, and a job in real life that obviously isn't rewarding enough.
TL:DR ? Smudboy loves being sensational
