It looks like it's made from Omni-tool to me.

At least I could understand where he was coming from in his ME2 vidoes, but that was just ridiculous.

Well, it's connected to his omni-tool, so I'd imagine that it is.

It is? I always remember there only being the shield, no sign of the omnl-tool.

Smud's ME2 redesign would have made an awful video game. I know there is the crowd who immediately installs the "must eat, drink and sleep" mods for Morrowind but as a whole, his changes would have made the game pretty unplayable.

Yeah, but I think that people misunderstood him. He is trying to say that, if you present something, something that it appears to make damage, freeze, burn... You make a preview of this gadget showing what it does, we only see that it uhmm scares the enemy. He is saying that they show things that look like "oh my god a saber with chritsmas lights".

As someone who largely agreed with his initial critique of ME2's writing, I agree. While I thought the guy had a couple of decent ideas when it came to plot and characters, other concepts ranged between convoluted and unworkable.Whatever666343431431654324 wrote...

What BioWare needs is their own internal "devil's advocate" who rips apart the writing during the development process, so the writers at least have the opportunity to have an "oh yeah, that doesn't make sense" moment—and fix it before it's put into the games.

You're 2 months longer then me on BSN and you don't know about him?
I met him like in few days and was a big dick to me and soon enough I find out he was like that to everyone who disagrees with him.

Seems like it. Not that it changes much. It's probably just transparent material which is 'unfolded' (like all of the weapons in the MEverse, and it is attached to the Omni-tool.Welsh Inferno wrote...

The problem is that it's actually very hard to make a perfect story, where everything is explained, logical and without contradictions. I doubt that nitpicking and complaining could help to make a good story.

Anyways while the tendensy Silverman has to be "super duper awesome-guy" i don't really see a problem with the marketing thus far, they don't talk down to you, they speak in manor that shows they are excited about bringing this game to us, and they seem to understand what aspects of the game most people like, as for the game itself, i am still suffering fom DA2 skepsis.
