I image googled Yvonne Strahovski but doesn't quite look like her.

She always looked like MJ to me. Sorry, I feel as if they should have kept her blonde or brunette instead.

I think they used dark hair because darker hair is related to sinister-intelligent, while blonde is usually related to pretty and not-too-bright.

Not to mention if you read the novels, there aren't many blonde people in Mass Effect since the trait is dying out or something.

While I don't think that it resembles MJ at all, I do think Bioware did a less-than-ideal job of modelling Yvonne's face. Strahovski is gorgeous, but Miranda can occasionally look pretty weird.

I doubt they were trying to model her face perfectly, since don't look much like Yvonne.

It looks close enough that I saw her and immediately recognized her as Yvonne. It's just the uncanny valley has reared its ugly head, quite literally. Hopefully Bioware rescan her face or improve the model so it doesn't look quite so much like plastic.

I can easily see the resemblance between Miranda Lawson and Yvonne Strahovski. The facial structure and jawline are very close.
