How major? Major.

As long as they can justify it in a way that makes sense, I'm down for it. I just fear Cerberus has been make into an adversary because Reapers need more varied infantry.

i want there to be a bonus email at the end of the credits where it says "Hey SHep we've found the location of TIM" and you go there, after a brief cutscene you break into his super secret room. He's sitting there, shocked.

Option A: Shoot him in the face

Option B: Make sweet manlove to him (M/M)

Option C: Arrest him

Option D: Propose to him.

Alternatively you could do a combo of all 4. Propose to him, when he says yes make sweet manlove (M/M) to him. Then after, while he's smoking his victory cigarette, shoot him in the face and arrest his corpse.... or arrest him and then shoot him in the face in-transit. :devil:

If this was a Korean movie it would go, in order, B -> D -> C -> A.

TIM is gonna be a mindless indoctrinated husk. No fun!

"OMG I WANNA KILL HIM AGAIN AND AGAIN" /sarcasm.

I just hope he plays sufficient role in ME3 and he sticks to what was established in ME2. That is all.

I hope he's innocent of having Cerebus going after you due to those agents being indoctrinated and he contacts you about putting those guys down. Then some shady dealings he's involved with and you got to decide to work with him to get more information about..well Cerebus to stop the indoctrinated ones or just go after TIMmy himself. So basically I want him to either have his role from ME2 but on a much smaller scale or him to be a good side villain. And I just made that up. Not bad, huh?

What if TIM dies & Gillian Grayson or some other corrupt Cerberus member is controlling Cerberus. Why does everyone think everything is TIM's fault?

It will be interesting to see how the next novel will progress the story in that aspect. I gues, however, that they wont change too much for the benefit of people who just play the games and don't read the books.

OT: I wouldn't want TIM to be too central to be honest. Even if he is tied to the reapers, this war affects the whole galaxy and not just humans. And it is supposed to be a war with the reapers which frankly I find much more interesting than Cerberus and TIM. So as far as I am concerned, I would be fine with him playing a role similar to, say, Benezia in ME1. Sort of a major sidekick to the main antagonists but we deal with him in the middle rather then at the end of the game.

I don't want him to have to be an antagonist. ME2 spent this whole time trying to give you some shades of grey for Cerberus and then ME3 just pops up with Cerberus being evil (though apparently due to indoctrination). I want my shades of grey back.

They were available in ME2 because there, the graphics mainly used shades of brown, but now all shades of grey have already been used in the visuals, none are left for the story.

 In ME 2 I never really saw him as being much of an antagonist, more of a potential antagonists...he is the illusive man after all and his motives even though clear are scary and its hard to tell how potentially evil he could be. Plus we won't know much about the situation until we play the game...I'm interested to see what happens.

The Illusive Man should be a secondary antagonist. Like...a pawn. Kind of like the guy that is control of ground forces.
