Yes. But on one condition. You have to romance her in ME3 or continue your romance from ME2

I hope so, but if it's not, I won't mind. If ME3 takes place over several decades, maybe we can see all Quarians outside of their suits.

You know, they've been pretty receptive to the changes we've made. We haven't really had much negative feedback from them. We changed Tali - that was tough because people were very passionate about her. A lot of people want to have her face revealed and obviously people are going to be pissed off either way.

Like "I thought she was going to look beautiful!" or "I thought she was going to be the most hideous thing ever!" So we've had a lot of debate over Tali's face, but that's the one we kind of dread a lot. We're always "well, let's talk about something else for a while!" That's something we're going to have to decide.
Apologies if old.

I'll just leave this post from a friend elsewhere here. I feel it would be relevant to the thread.

This can be good or bad for lots of different players for lots of different ways. Not everyone will be satisfied on the direction Bioware decides to take this and unfortunately so; you can't please everyone. I for one am open to seeing what Tali looks like under her helmet, though I won't lose sleep at night if I don't. But my friend assures me that he will be listening very carefully from his house for any obscenities I might be shouting if I'm not satisfied, myself.

I think a good solution would be when you land on Rannoch you could see a worn statue of a quarian, That way you get a rough Idea of what they look like without bioware comming straight out and showing everybody one

You sir, are a genius! You forgot to add "without a mask/suit" though.

That's kind of the idea though...

Yes. I think that it would be very frustrating for those romancing her if her face is not revealed.

And it would be very, very frustrating to almost everyone to play 3 entire games and never see a quarian without the helmet. And it wouldn't make any sense reveal other and less important quarians and not Tali.

I personally would like to see Tali's face too but I do not expect a humanoid face I look at the model and wonder is she is going to have bird-like, reptillian, or bovine (cowish) features because the model has 2 sets of knees so i would be frustrated to not know which one if any of those guesses. Besides what color would it be? (as in her face)

There is a simple solution to this question: Give the player the option of choosing if thay want the face shown or not. I would think thay have concept art for it, so it would be a shame to have that go to waste. As long as theres a good naritive impact with it i'm all for player choice (i'm looking at you da2 team *shakes fist*.)

Respondig to the last comment, how would you give the player the choice to veiw it or not without either negetivly impacting the narrative or have players who did not want to see it accedentaly stumbling into that and then veiwing it? your comment seems to basically be saying they should show her face but hide it somewhere? (by the way look at the comment made two hours ago by jp6400) It seems confusing to me. However i do agree they shoulden't show it to everyone no matter what. They need to make players earn it somehow.

one idea is to do it the same way you handel romance choices or other  paragon/ renagade choices.. or even simpler remember that sheperds already seen her face if he romanced tali. so it could be added to  varible tracking. Or theres a situation ware she goes to remove the helmet and you get a dialloge or intrupt choise.

Everyones happy.

I'd say no, the answers to some mysteries should remain in the unknown. The curiosity people have drives part of the appeal of her character. A mystery can persist indefinitely but a realization can happen only once. On the other hand, if they can reveal her face and people retain interest, I guess that means they put together a compelling character, or at least a pretty face.

i'd should be left to the player. remember the hoth ice monster in empire strikes back? in the first cut it was left out, you only got a 2 second shot of the face. in the se it was added back in. Personaly i think leaving it out was more artistic, but it was still nice to see what was orignaly intended. the same consept applys to tali and indeed any qurian's face.
if people want the mistery give them that option, but to dictate ether way is not the best way to handel it. it cheapens things and brakes imersion.

"Up to the gamer" doesn't really work.... You'd opt out of seeing her face through the game, and then when you go on this forum or another....BAM!!!! Tali's face, posted by some guy.... Heck. I'm sure we'll all see it before the game is even released.

If Bioware shows Tali's face, people will complain that it is fan service, if they don't show her face people will complain Bioware is teasing them. There is no solution on this issue.

^got a link to that? or elaborate....

Assuming this post was directed towards me (saying that it's confirmed that we're going to see the quarian faces):

Follow these simple 6 steps:

1) First, go to this link: http://www.gameinfor...ing-garrus.aspx

2) Second, start the video on that page.

3) Skip to 7:15 and listen closely to what this concept artists tells you from this part till the end of the video.

4) Now you know that BioWare obviously is working on how Tali (and the Quarians in general) should look like under their mask.

5) Now ask yourself this: Why would BioWare work on this if they aren't planning on showing the face of Tali and/or the quarians?

6) Draw the logical conclusion, that we at some point ARE going to see what's under the mask of Tali and the quarians.

thanks for the video! Image IPB I never seen it before.

I think when creating a story, a lot of things are discussed and put on the drawing board.  The best way to get the best ideas are to list as many ideas as you can, even the dumb ones.  This way, you may be surprised to find an idea that sticks out and works.  With that said, it doesn't surprise me that bioware would be drawing up different ways Quarians look but that doesn't mean they will finalize and say they will.   I still think people shouldn't get their hopes up and that video is definitely not difinitive about what they will do with tali in me3.

I would like her face to be completely alien apart from the nose. Two species that had a human face would just be taking the ******.

Like spollers and trolls are never rife when a game is out. My saggestion is one reviel and IF the player makes that choise then its set for the rest of the game, if not then its a left unknown. Now if a gamer gos around clicking on and reading spoilers then complaning thats silly. They made the choise to read/look at/ complane about it..

Personaly I want to see a face But i wont force my preff on all gamers. but neather should people that dont want to see it. I think my saggestion is a good compromise.

Whilst I'd be genuinely interested to see what's under that mask for once, I can't see revealing her face ending well, all things considered. Show us what Quarians look like in general and leave folk to fill in the rest themselves.

No, imagination has flooded the Talimancers and nothing will ever meet their expectations. Revealing it is a disaster and a half, not revealing it is simply a disaster.

what I dont understand is the heavy tint on the visor. why cant you have it so it reacts to lighting conditions like tints on specs. that way they get the protection and people can look then in the eye as it were?
