If BW wanted to reveal it, they should've done it in ME2 (during the romance scene). We didn't see her face, but Shep did. That should be good enough. Would be lame if they did a similar thing (unmasking) again in ME3.
I agree, but that does not mean that they shouldn't do a quarian unmasking in ME3.
ME3 is going to be the final game of this trilogy and in my opinion the last chance for BioWare to reveal as much details about all the alien species as possible. Sure, they could me a 4th Mass Effect game (that isn't related to Shepard) and reveal the faces of the quarian in that game, but wouldn't it be much more satisfying to do it in the last part of the Shepard-trilogy?

Personally I'd like to see unmasked quarian and see that it is rather an ugly looking species, just to see some nerd rage in the forums.
Edit: Shouldnt this thread be moved to 'Character & romance' ?

I like this one. That's exactly how I picture the quarians when I try to look at the shape of the eyes and nose of Tali (that you can barely see through her mask). I think the quarians indeed should look like the picture here above.
They probably have some sort of "smooth fur" too...

Unless it's a badly conceived mystery that actually breaks immersion (because it doesn't exist for the actual characters). Would have been neutral if not for ME2 developer trolling.Jebel Krong wrote...
No - when things cease to be a something of a mystery they become less interesting.

I'm sure you've all seen it (Best Interrupt Ever!), but I can't stop watching it and giggling. Freaking. Hilarious.

Luckily for the Talimancers, I don't think H.R. Giger works for Bioware.ModestmeNTaLmogul wrote...
She better look like this,I'd hate to see her face if she looks like a female human.

Maybe if you are lucky and give the quarians back thier homeworld you will be treated to a scene of Quarians taking off thier helmets on Rannoch to breath in the air of ancestral home.
not sure if that will happen seeing as in ME2 Tali states that even if their homeworld was taken back, they would have to destroy thier Flotila to rebuild their buildings, and that it would take 100's of years for their immune systems to build back up to where they would be able to survive outside of their suits. so the likely-hood of a Quarian taking their helmet off on Rannoch is HIGHLY unlikely.
