I have a solution for this question...
If you romanced Tali, you get the option to see her face, a point in dialog where its clear that if you pick the option you get to see her face.
Otherwise you will not get the chance to see her face.

Tali?  For quarians in general I say sure. What bugs me is that I'm sure there's plenty of material on the extranet that shows what they look like, but players can't see it because it's a mystery!

As for the quarians,they might even look like this (why their exo-suits are different? male/female)

I wouldn't mind if Bioware never revealed what Tali's face looks like, but I would like to at least see what a quarian looks like under the mask.

I feel like this is going to be the whole Duke Nukem Forever situation.
Duke Nukem comes out, gathers fan following, sequel announced, takes forever to come out and in the end it doesn't live up to expectations/hype/imaginings.

I think Tali's face shouldn't be revealed. On account of the nice sense of mystery it gives her, and that it might end up like Duke Nukem Forever.

Perhaps have another quarian's face revealed instead. That way we know what they look like, but Tali can just stay Tali.

but if you're going to see a Quarian's face it makes the most sense for you to see tali's.

Not necessarily. It's true that Tali is probably the quarian Shepard is around the most but Shepard runs into many quarians on his/her travels. Depending on the situation any quarian's face would make sense.
Perhaps you run into a dying quarian, fataly wounded in batte, and they've ripped off their helmet to take their last breath of air.

hey sounds good to me, but I'd be seriously bummed if they showed us a quarian's face like that but we never got to see tali's.

I don't understand why the mystery is there at all, but since it is, I am totally in favor of revealing what the Quarrians look like.

Aside from the ExtraNet/Pron Industry/First hand experiences that were mentioned earlier, I regard the total reliance on environment suits to be a massive failure of the Quarrian medical establishment.

In other sci-fi settings in which a population had to live long-term in a sterile setting part of the doctor's duties was to tailor minor ailments and intoduce them into the environment in order to keep the immune system in shape. We can also, even today, go the direct immuniztion route. Periodic shots of an immunization mix. Visiting a foreign environment? Booster shots fortified wth what you might be exposed to.

The only reason I can see for the mystery is that Bioware wanted the mystery. I find myself unsympathetic to their current dammed-if-they-do/dammed-if-they-don't plight.

I think they should, though that's my own personal opinion. I see no way that Bioware can satisfy everyone though whether they do or not, though the same can be said for many things nowadays.

The most appropriate moment to reveal Tali's face was when she revealed it to Shepard. That moment has come and gone.

There could more appropriate moments to reveal her face you know. It's not like she has to only take off her helmet once to Shepard. Continuing a romance with her in ME 3 could allow her face to be revealed.

If they're going to show any quarians face then they might as well start with Tali since she's the big question mark. Would seem rather silly to me to show what some other quarians look like but not her.

It'd be a interesting joke on the talimancers, but I imagine Bioware wants to please them and get money more than they want to troll them and get hated.

It's all a big biology fail. It doesn't even make sense for quarians to develop as they did in the - what - 5 generations that they've been in space?

Yeah its not like its sommething that no onein the galaxy has ever seen. There are plenty of asari and Krogan who can remember it first-hand and for those whoaren't that old they can just space-google it

 Tali was killed in my game, so I don't really care. We were closing the two doors when a rocket hit her and she died.
