In my opinion, if we see it, we see it, if we don't, we don't. I don't care what she looks like, as that is not why I like her in the first place, and if we don't see it, I won't care.

But we have an official thread for this topic right here. We made it because we are getting too many new topics on this subject.

Please use the link instead.

Ok, who here votes that Bioware should Reveal talis face, of at least some of it in ME3? they gave us a teaser in ME2 if you romanced her, but you should get to see the whole thing, seeing as you save the Quarian home world(heard that from masseffect.wikia.com, not sure if it's true or not) and such, seeing tali's face would be the Icing on the cake for a lot of ME fans.

As much as I want to see Tali or any Quarian for that matter, the honest answer is I don't know. If anything I would want to see what causes the eys to glow and what the lips look like that's all. From the first time I encountered her she wasn't really a mystery she was just another individual who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and in the sense of recruiting her it turned out to be the right time and place. She was a young adult who adapted to the attitudes around her and became an essential member of my crew.

I agree with the ME2 intimacy aspect as well. Between Kasumi going into depth about Tali's feelings and Tali herself recalling the first time we met and what we went through, I won't lie, it was a touching and vulnerable moment from my POV. The overall emotion Liz Stroka "breathed" into her was amazing on the loyalty mission. And when she shares her intimate moment, Shep looked very much surprised at her face and I can only assume that she was showing a great deal of emotion, fear, and want. So yes I probably want to see her revealed but on the same hand I don't feel that it's obligatory. Reading this I searched my HD to find some deviant art that to me shows Tali in a tragic yet sensitive light. When I saw it, it was touching and made me wonder about the young Quarian even more. Here it is. (Not my creation. It belongs to the artist.)

I think our decisions in ME3 will determine whether we see Tali's face or not.

Personally, I think it would be cool to see Tali take her helmet off in a dramatic cutscene after retaking their homeworld, or finding a suitable colony. Its like she would breathe the free air for the first time.

If they do unmask Tali, I'd at least hope that she looks properly alien, instead of being another "Space babe" like the Asari.

Overall, I'd rather they didn't though

This isn't exactly a yes or no answer.

If they show it I hope she's pretty and if she has hair like humans I hope it's no bangs and to her shoulders if not above them judging by how the veil on her falls it looks like her hair would only be to her shoulders. I would like to see her face w/o the helmet on sense I romanced her and only helmet less can you truly get a pure picture of her.

Now if BW doesn't show her I would prefer an extended love scene where we tastefully can see her skin tone, hair (if any) it's color and length, and they capture the feelings of love, passion, and admiration each one holds for each other.

At the very least they should make it optional, you should be given the choice as to whether you get to see what Tali/Quarians look like.  I personally want to know but it shouldn't be forced on people.

This is a good idea...But how should it be implemented? (Renegade interrupt: look at dead quarians with broken helmets -> you see their faces!)

I for one would want to see how they look as well =) I´d also like to see how the Volus look :D

Thins is, if the quarians are unmasked, even if it´s optional, it won´t be long till it´s on the internet. And then everybody will see them, sooner or later.... :?

Yes.

Everyone in the Galaxy knows what Quarians look like under the helmets, but the player doesn't. That should change.

This would be a great way of showing people's loyalty to Tali.

Maybe, but it really sounds a bit strange saying it like that. 'Cause everyone whose Shepard have romanced Tali, has actually seen Tali's face, not the player. It would look strange if Shepard would see Tali's face the second time, and for the player the first time, would suddenly say "Yeah no thx."

Yes. You should also be able to view a book with what the Quarians looked like without their suits. I mean the Asari bartender at Eternity remembers. Pretty much all the Asari and Krogan remember. The Geth have it stored somewhere. I would imagine there's some info on the Citadel with this as well. Why don't we have access to these things? Or does Shepard not know how to use a library?

For that matter, Quarian children don't wear suits initially they just live in special clean rooms or bubbles until they're old enough.

That...makes sense now. Okay, testing people's loyalty is out of the question.

I really don't care whether or not Tali is revealed- but not revealing the appearance of an entire species because of one character is ridiculous.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was a fantasy game, but the Mass Effect Universe has an extranet that could find images of unmasked Quarians with the toutch of a button, and the fornax shepard buys explicitly states that it often features Quarians.

It honestly feels like the galaxy's worst kept secret. Everone's in on it except for the player. Even Shepard.

This.

Even if they don't reveal Tali looks like in game they should reval what the Quarians look like as a species. All it would take is a a physical description of them in a Quarian codex entry, complete with an artist's depiction of them. (sort of how the Batarians were first revealed, though their appearance was later changed for Bring Down the Sky)

Nope... because no matter how they design her face, you're being set up 100% for guaranteed disappointment.... with her face having been a mystery for so long, we all have our own mental image of what she does / should look like.

The moment you see someone else's depiction of her face, you'll only feel let down (to some degree or another... either mildly.. or severely).. because it won't match the image you hoped she was.

I'd be fine with her face staying a mystery (but letting us see another Quarian's face at least).

Shepard knows. It´s us the players who don´t. It´s the same with the Keiji´s greybox for example, the character knows things the player doesn´t, which I find a bit irritating.

I would like to see fan reaction to Tali unmasking. Characters whose mask is part of their popularity usually take a good hit if they are revealed.

I disagree with this for me I will accept BW decision on how she looks without the mask and won't be disappointed. Though I will be really disappointed if BW doesn't show us what tali looks like without the mask, though I'd prefer she is good looking.

Part of the charm of tali is not knowing her face, you just get a slight glimpse through the helmet. Putting a face to the quarians would ruin part of the race for me tbh.

Aside from a snogging moment there is also no reason at all to even see a quarian unmasked.

Actually, IF they're going to show a quarian face, it might be best if they show another quarian, but not tali, as someone mentioned, putting a face on her might not be the face that peopel imagined her to have.
