Seriously, are we really all that fascinated in what's under a pixel character's mask? This is getting as bad as doing the "woo hoo" with other Sims.

I don't think it's as bad as woo hoo for most people - just curiosity for what the race in general looks like, and as it's a symbol of trust to remove their mask, it'd most likely be Tali you'd see?
Unless you shot a quarian's mask off

Why not?
You could also say "why do you people facinate a silly game so"
It's a matter of choise, and some people just really like her character.

If you asked me a month before, I would have said yes.

BUT

After some thought, it's her mystery that helps add to her attractiveness as a character. Plus, it's interesting (and horrifying) to see people's guesses through fanart of her.

TL;DR: No, keep the mystery alive.

Yes. Only because this will probably be the last chance to see the more than just her eyes.

The other option is make it a player choice..during the inevitable sex scene -

"Tali, hit the lights"

"Tali, don't turn off the lights AAIIIIEEEEEEEE WAAAYOOOO" <<In the good Mr. Enrique voice.

Everybody wins.

Of course it should be revealed!
It would be a huge letdown to me personally if it wasn't.

I'd like to see what quarians looks like indeed. It does however depend on whether Bioware feels that they can fullfill the (huge) expectations. If they don't I'd rather they didn't try, some mysteries are not there to be solved after all.

Most people would be pissed.

When I think of a Quarians face, I think of purple glass. Lets keep it that way.

Mystery is only fun when there's an end.... When there's no end, it just gets boring. Show her face.

Does anyone remember the unmasking of Darth Vader in The Return of The Jedi?
Three movies with one of the coolest villains ever to grace the screen and I finally got to see how he looked under that mask and helmet...And i was kinda disappointed. He didn't look bad or anything, but once I saw his real face it was like he wasn't Darth Vader anymore.
The unmasked, pale, scarred, weak, (chunky), face with this feeble old man's voice just couldn't compare to the the black, skull like visage with the legionnaire helmet and that terrific, booming voice that made us all shiver. The face that met me when the mask came off was a step back from the commanding presence of Darth Vader I had come to know.
It's highly possible that the same thing will happen if they decide to remove that bucket from Tali's head, seeing as she practically IS the Darth Vader in the Mass effect universe (a fantastic voice performance with lots of character wrapped up in a stylish suit and mask) . It's hard for me to believe that the face waiting for us behind the visor (be it beautiful or hideous) will ever have that same impact as the image of Tali we have come to know over the past two games.

You see,  this makes sense when Darth Vader takes off the mask he WASN'T Darth Vader anymore.  Just saying.

Here’s my thoughts on this matter:

-To all who think it should remain a mystery, Image IPByou suck, if someone was coming to kill you and everyone you knew in an undisclosed time and manner would you want to find out who it was or would you want that remain a mystery
-To all who think it should be optional, Image IPByou have a good head on your shoulders whether you did or didn't want to see her or another Quarian's face you at least weren't selfish about it like these others who have a fetish for unsolved mystery.
-To all who want to see her face, Image IPBAgreed, if I got freaky with her in ME2 I would want to see all of her, but since they probably won't show that, because of all the flak they caught from the one second of skin they showed in ME1, I’ll settle for her face

Touché my friend, but my point was that Darth Vader (and probably Tali) looks a lot cooler with the mask and helmet on, and that any other face shown to us will suffer in comparison.
Also (as you pointed out), when Darth Vader asks Luke to take off his mask it marks the change from Vader to Anakin SKywalker. Metaphorically, the suit and mask can be seen as Darth Vader, not the body within.
This is not the case with our beloved quarian, who is Tali'Zorah both inside and out. When she takes off her mask  in front of SHepard there is no big change in character. Also the developer's had a great opportunity to show us her face, but they chose to hide it. Many would call them lazy, but I think it was fully intentional. They clearly tell us that the face the player (not commander Shepard) should know and love is the mask and helmet. Storywise, the big dramatic unmasking of Tali has already happened in the series and I see no reason to do it again. Also I find the motivation people have for the unveiling of her face (other than obvious curiosity) as quite suspicious, seeing as many people just want to know "what they're getting into" in their romances. Just saying.

I really don't care whether or not Tali is revealed- but not revealing the appearance of an entire species because of one character is ridiculous.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was a fantasy game, but the Mass Effect Universe has an extranet that could find images of unmasked Quarians with the toutch of a button, and the fornax shepard buys explicitly states that it often features Quarians.

It honestly feels like the galaxy's worst kept secret. Everone's in on it except for the player. Even Shepard.

Man Shepard is such an ass

Part of what makes mystery interesting, is all the hoops you have to jump through to uncover the truth. Watch a good mystery film; it has you on the edge of your seat, anxiously waiting to finally figure out what is really happening. If the player has gone through the trouble to do everything right on the whole Quarian and Geth issue, then we should have the option to see what they look like. No matter what decision Bioware makes, some talimancers will be disappointed, and the talibashers will still harbor bitterness towards Tali. Bioware shouldn't do it just as a fan service, because there is a lot of disagreement on the issue. They ought to do what makes sense, in whichever way, and whatever time works best with the story. I think it is ridiculous that the player wouldn't know what quarians look like. I mean, if quarians could design a machine race as intelligent as the geth, wouldn't they have been able to, you know, take pictures of themselves before they were driven off the homeworld? As has been said before, it really is the galaxy's worst kept secret. As long as Bioware can be creative like they were with the appearance of the drell, I think most reasonable fans will be ok with however she looks.

Even though i love Tali as a character and i am very curious to see her face what if it was revealed and it wasnt what you imagined it to be?????i think a BIG part of Tali's sex appeal is the fact that she is mysterious, you dont get to see her face so you always picture her a beautiful.

If a lot of work went into the behind-the-scenes creation of the quarian's visual appearance, sure. If not, I can absolutely live with it being a mystery.

Some must have their curiosity satisfied and others that can live with (and even enjoy) the mystery.

Personally I dont care either why but I know BioWare could never beat my imagination as to how they look.

For me its not about seeing the Quarins faces but getting an end to that story thread. Do they go to war against the reapers with us? Does our voice in ME2 make an impact on them going to their homeworld or do they pick a new place?
Do they come to some accord with the geth?
All out war with the Geth?

Hell that story is more interesting to me then the Reapers.
