That depends on what direction they choose to take the design. If quarians are as similar to humans as asari, or even drell, then what's the point? That's boring.

Something a bit more exotic? Than absolutely.

YES. If my character has seen it, I want to see it. That was one of the most annoying scenes in ME2, where she shows her face to my character yet *I* don't see it! WTF!?

the problem with showing tali's face is that they've purposefully done everything in their power to make her appearance as ambigous as possible. Thus everyone and their mother has their own opinion on how she "should" look. There is simply no pleasing everyone here.

So no I think it should remain a mystery. It's litterally the main artistic feature of the quarian race.

They'll show her face...I can't find a reason why they wouldn't... BW will reveal her face and she'll look like a beautiful alien lady... BW won't take the butterface angle, b/c a lot of us guys who play these games are infatuated with her... and if she was hideous looking i'd be saying: "WTF Shep, you slept with that? Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"

I think it's awfully manipulative if they don't reveal her. But BioWare seems to be trying to please everybody these days (not a good idea!) so my guess is they'll do some kind of compromise: you'll see a quarian's face, just not Tali's.

why not. if they try and think enough but not TOO much I am sure they can come up with a cute looking alien face with a cute smile with glowing eyes and purple skin.

In an interview one of the Mass Effect 3 concept artists said they were discussing on how the Quarians should look like under their suits. BIG chance that we get to see Tali's or another quarian's face in ME3.

It should be if Bioware thinks it should be. Said they were working on it, so it seems it should be.

No, it adds to the mystery.
If they want to show us the face of a Quarian, let it be of a random Quarian, not Tali.

This is probably one of the most debatable decisions there are for the Talimance part of ME3.

If they do show it, many people (myself included) will be very happy for two reasons:
1) They finally show us what a Quarian looks like.
2) They show us Tali's face.
But there will be people who will dislike this decision because they had their own personal idea of what she looked like and, in more harsh words, it would ruin the mystery.

If they were going to show us her face, why not do it in ME2 when we had that almostbutnotquite reveal?

I personally think that they HAVE to show us a Quarians face in ME3. So we could solve that mystery while still keeping they mystery of Tali's face intact, but then, what Quarian is important enough to have their face shown? Kal? Shala? Xen? Maybe, but there is no reason why it wouldn't be Tali. What Quarian is more important? (Okay I guess in the scheme of things the Admirals are more important but shaddap, I'm trying to make a point here)

If they don't show us her face, how will we get more information on what Quarian faces look like? A verbal description?
Some people are fine with not knowing. I'm just damn curious though.

One person, I can't remember who, had an idea of how to reveal it in ME3:
Basically we'd get hints to the reveal throughout the game, with the game showing us a lesser Quarians face when resolving the Quarian/Geth conflict. Maybe in a sickbay, or when viewing one of the children bubbles Zorbs. At the culmination of the romance, you'd get a face showing scene if and only if you've been nice to her throughout ME1 and ME2.

This poses some problems, mainly, the argument against showing her face.

I had an idea that maybe BioWare could include some sort of camera control during the reveal scene, like 'Press spacebar to change angles' or maybe give partial mouse control during cutscenes like in literally every Valve title in existence.

But if that were implemented, it would still reveal the face to some, and pictures would surly travel across the extrainternet, ruining the mystery for those who prefer it remain hidden.

Personally I think those who are against a reveal should grow a pair and get over it. But that's just me.
In the long run though, this is a minor thing in ME3 and I will respect BioWare's decision, whatever it is.

I think they should let you see someone ELSES face, like another Quarian NPC female's face first.

And then you can decide if you want to be let down or not when the mask comes off.

I say 'no'

Whatever they make of it, none of the people who answer 'yes' to this question will be happy with the outcome. and then they'll start making threats
She's too human, too alien, not hot, too hot, ugly, strange, dumb, ....

Just let her face stay hidden

Ok, who here votes that Bioware should Reveal talis face, of at least some of it in ME3? they gave us a teaser in ME2 if you romanced her, but you should get to see the whole thing, seeing as you save the Quarian home world(heard that from masseffect.wikia.com, not sure if it's true or not) and such, seeing tali's face would be the Icing on the cake for a lot of ME fans.

Some of it? Be careful, we might just end up with a left nostril...

What's the point of the mystery if it only exists for the players and not for the characters?

Yes show the face, preferably some ugly as hell insectoid like race, because then all the Talimancers will suddenly go break a jaw and shut up about how great a character she is and how it is only the personality that matters =)

Yes. I don't care if the fans don' t like it. Bioware have to show that they've got some control over their games.

I mean, she showed her face to Shepard (if LI) in ME2. Would she go the whole game without doing it again? She's goes on about how she wants to show him what is under her mask. Would BioWare do the same dick-move again and not show it to the player? One would hope not.

I'm hoping they only did that in ME2 to prolong interest (in Tali) into ME3. Perhaps they thought being able to romance her would be enough for ME2 and they could hold-off on the big reveal to ME3.
