No they actually don't know how she should look, as they know they can't make everyone happy so they prefer to not show her face.

It is that simple

Well Mass Effect is their story. So what every they make her look like it will be her real face. Plus they said they are working on her looks. I am pretty sure they'll make her look good.

Tali's main attribute is the mystery surrounding what she looks like, i believe the only way we should see her is if we get her back on her homeworld with her people getting back to being able to live without the suits but i would love to see what she and her people in general look like its been a long time mystery with no spoilers so we will have to wait and see what bioware have in store for us loyal fans!

Yes, but I see the implications of people getting disappointed.

Like I said earlier, sure, show her face. I hope the quarians are an insectoid race, see how many talimancers who will break their jaws and stop claiming "it is all about personality"

After ME1 I really wanted to see her face. When I heard you could romance her in ME2, I immediately romanced her hoping to see her face. I was sad when they did not reveal it.

I'm eager to know what quarians look like, but at the same time, I understand them not wanting to establish what they look like. I'm also not sure if I want to know now. Then again, in ME2, with the new appearance pack for tali, you can make out her nose. But those eyes.. those glowing eyes.. not sure if that's natural, or if there's yet another prosthetic underneath. If anything, I'm sure quarians do not look all that alien. And I know they would not look alien enough, or too alien for some groups.

Best leave it to the imagination at this point, I'd wager.

Denial is a strong force indeed.. =)

But on the other hand, the quarians have been exiled for 300 years, and I bet they didn't immediately start living in enviroment suits... Why is there no pictures around you can extranet? :o

Actually I was thinking of some sort of strange mammal. After all, female quarians have ******.

And yep, people will be dissappointed no matter what because there is not an unique and single opinion. So I don't see why that statement is valid

BioWare IS going to show what the quarians look like in ME3. The question is: Is it going to be Tali? And is it going to be optional?

Maybe BioWare should make the Tali-face-reveal optional to the player, so those pansies who whine "I want it to be a mystery" can keep it "a mystery" for themselves.

Pansies? I like tali but i'm more of an' Asari/Krogan fan personally, but what about the volus we don't know what they look like but i don't see you blabbing about them being demasked, Well apart from the fact they would die if they were doesn't help i guess :P. But same for quarians demasking could potentionally kill them. If they do demask them i hope it is by us helping get their homeworld back for them, that would be cool to do :)

The Volus look already ugly in their suits, no need to reveal the uglines that's underneat that suit. ;-)

As for Quarians, who knows what they look like? They cool be ugly, they could be pretty, they could be mediocre.

You know what would be cool? If the Quarians went back to their homeworld to find out that not all Quarians left their homeworld in the first place. Maybe a couple of unmasked quarians still walk around their home planet, for whatever reason? The reason could be anything. They could be left behind. They could be building a resistance against the geth, like Zion in The Matrix. Or maybe they work together with the geth?

Exactly to my point of us helping them regain their homeworld and finding out properly would be really cool to have the whole Quarian/Geth situation resolved either way it goes, depending on how people did their respected run-through's :).

No, because I have a feeling BioWare is going to make them look too human like everyone else...

granted, their body plan is already exactly like a human...and the placeholder face model is practically human...but I have a feeling that they'll make quarians these hot purple/gray space elves...and if that's the case I will be disappoint...

also, everyone at this point either has their own thoughts on how the quarians look like or don't give a crap...so to make an official face runs the risk of displeasing more people than please...

(however, if they DO decide to show Tali's face...I want that to be a faithful Tali romance line reward only >:D..........but seriously, no...........dat mystery)

Yeah they should. I'm sure Bioware has already settled on what they look like. Plus if their gonna keep going with the ME franchise then they'll surely end up showing quarians eventually anyway. Might as well start with a big reveal of the most popular one.

Must have already posted this, but yes they should, as they've already dropped large hints that they are (I mean, come on, they said they're working on her face and the majority of fans want to see it).

Plus I want to see what she looks like. No pre-concieved Tali-faces for me, she is Bioware's and thus their face is her face, simple as that.

I´m not really interested in seeing Talis face, but to know how quarians look would be nice. The reason for that is simple: I´m in an Mass Effect RPG Forum, so everything that extends the background is welcome.

You should only see your LI's face as she dies? Somehow, that won't go over well with a lot of people.

Not that she's everyone's LI, but they have the largest stake in things. As has been shown, Tali only trusts Shepard enough to show her face to him, and that's how it should remain; Only via romance. Those other sad individuals can hit up YouTube if they're in denial.

I think part of Tali's attraction is that her face is hidden. Revealing that would take away the mystery. Revealing it in ME is perhaps not a good idea either because the fans have fantasized about it for so long that it would probably lead to disappointment. ;)
