honestly I would be ok with them showing Tali and/or other Quarians.  I think the Irony extends past what Tali looks like and that we (gamers, readers, viewers) will never know what quarians look like.  Thats the direction they took in Me1, Me2, the novels, and the comics.  And even a blind man can predict that it will continue in that trend.

The point of all my posts: Don't get your hopes up and enjoy the joke.

Seriously, when has a developer given in to fan service, and had a good outcome? This is how some of the dumbest, most ridiculous things get added to games, then get panned by reviewers. BW, please don't give in to the peanut gallery.

Leave poor Tali alone. If she wanted you to see her face, you already would have.

Yes, I think they should show Tali's face. That would make me happy, especially since I have not imagined a face for her.

Even something as simple as a facial base for Quarians would be too much of a giveaway.

I would love to see a quarian unmasked and unsuited as it were. But I wouldnt be upset not to see Tali.

A great, and evil, way to do it would be for a quarian to take their mask off letting us see their face then pan to tali with the camera showing her as she turns to shep taking her mask off, but never quite showing us what she looks like. We will know what a quarian looks like but not our lovely tali.

Anyone who disagrees and thinks they should not Reveal Tali. Well they are being selfish and greedy,for no other purpose,but their own personal gain. Not for story immersion. There is no in-game story that suggest we can never see Tali's face. She took her mask off in ME2. We know it can happen,and from a story PoV,it makes sense.

Not revealing Tali's face makes no sense,and it nothing more then fans being greedy and selfish for their own personal gain,at the cost of fellow fans. I am no longer taken these fans as serious. If you have  imagined an image of Tali in your head,cool. We do not and would like to have that same feeling.

If you are disappointed by Tali's face,that is your opinion,and if you base it off of the image in your head,you are just incorrect. If you do not like the reveal,keep your image and let the rest of us have ours. Stop being Greedy and selfish.

In the Love scene between Shepard and Tali she does de-mask and show Shepard. Bioware has ripped off the fans,and now owe us. Tali has shown her face to Shepard(In a sense in some playthroughs.) Fan service has helped Bioware become the company they are today. I think that counts as a good outcome. Apparently that is your opinion,I disagree with. Do it it Bioware,and do not service these selfish greedy fans. Finish your work in ME3. Do not service the fans who would keep Tali's face a secret. I agree that type of fan service will hurt the game.

I find it strange that you have such strong feelings toward this topic. Honestly, it would never affect me anyway, since I will never romance Tali (I am female, and play a female Shepard, without fail). I will not see her with or without her mask, regardless.

So, taking that into account, why do you think I'm expressing my opinion at all? Because I don't want BioWare to give in to this ridiculous notion of "having to see Tali's face" for the sake of keeping some fans happy. It's selling out, in my opinion, and it's not necessary.

You have a right to your opinion, and I have a right to mine.

Bioware owes you nothing, especially their own masked character's face.

Reality check,they have de-masked Tali in ME2,not showing us the face is what then? They have already de-masked the Character,now some of our Shepards know what she looks like,killing the mystery aspect of it. Now the player does not,killing immersion in this supposed RPG.

My opinion comes from an in-story PoV. Your's is based on Bioware giving fan service. If you feel as if they should not show Tali's face for some reason other then, you already have Tali's face imagined in your head and it will disappoint fans who do. The mystery behind Tali,begins and ends with Shepard. Shepard is going to save all life,but is one of the few who do not know what Quarians look like. Curiosity killed the cat. Not revealing Tali's face can take many Shepard's out of the immersion,just as it did in ME2.

So to those of you being selfish and greedy I ask you to stop. To those who would like to keep it a mystery. I ask you why would you want to be the only one who doesn't know something. Is it mystery or ignorance. It is as simple as looking online.(Or behind Tali's own mask,as many Shepards already have.)

Why couldn't the Asari bar tender tells us? Why couldn't Samara tell us? It is a mystery to you,but maybe not even everyone aboard your own ship. Why couldn't Wrex tell us? What point is there to being the only one who enjoys the mystery as some Shepard's already know what Tali's face looks like and the player is the only one left with the mystery. It doesn't make much sense, from an in-game PoV and immersion not to reveal Tali's face. Some Shepards have already seen her face duh!

It is now an unresolved issue,that needs to be resolved in ME3. Make it a LI reveal only. Then you could keep your mystery if you did not romance her,and gives the player who has, the resolution and immersion they/we deserve.

Also I am not trying to push my opinions on you. No I am not trying to push the reveal on you. I just want it for the Shepards who already know what Tali looks like.It makes sense as an LI only thing. That way both parties are happy. You are the ones trying to push your opinion on me. Just simply shat on the other fans and do not reveal her face. That is being a booty and is BS in my opinion.

Here's the way I see it, Shepherd knows what Tali's face looks like and we as the player are Shepherd so it only makes sense that we would be shown to what Tali's face looks like.

There is no mystery for Shepherd so there should be no mystery for the player.

its not even an issue: showing tali's face.  No one's forcing their opinions down your throat (or at least I wasn't) yet you call BS on everyone elses opinion...if that isn't hypocrisy, then I don't know what is.  Your wanting to see Tali's face so bad reminds me of OCD.

anyways, be prepared to not see tali's face in me3.
