So does anyone else think Littlefinger will get whats coming to him in the next book? I think they gotta kill of Varys or Littlefinger.
Oh God I so hope Littlefinger dies a horrible death.

I don't hate Littlefinger. He's a survivor and at least he got rid of that Arryn wench.

Yeah I did something like that for a girl once... it did not go as well as you might think.GodWood wrote...

He knows how the game is played and he's a pro at playing it. Also I quite like his love story.
Single-handedly instigating a massive civil war, resulting in the suffering and death of millions, just so he could get the husband of his childhood sweetheart disinherited, banished, and (most importantly) get their marriage invalidated so he could then pick her up on the rebound after having gathered enough power and wealth on the side to make a socially acceptable marriage proposal to a Noblewoman of her status.
It's so romantic ... in a twisted sort of way.

Well it is better than not trying or doing anything at all when it comes to love.:innocent:GodWood wrote...

My friends tried to tell me "No man, don't do it! Sure it'll all look like it's going according to plan but then before you know sh*t goes flip flop and suddenly the girl you went through all this trouble for is a zombie."
But like an idiot I went for it anyway and now I'm stuck with a zombie.
Sadface.

Think this is worth reposting + a little reminder. Over at Tor.com, Leigh Butler is doing a read through of the aSoIaF series. It's basically from the perspective of someone who hasn't read the books before so it's interesting to see reactions and predictions. Plus, she's got a good sense of humour on her. Currently up to Part 4 of her Clash read through. You should check it out.

Heh, and there are typos in it, too. But I wouldn't be surprised if that's the general plot. It would be about time.

George Martin is a featured guest at a fantasy/sci-fi con in my home state, a mere 3-4 hr. drive away from where I live. I might go just to hear him talk.

The thing that makes that description hard to believe is that at the end of Dragons, Dany is no where near Westeros still. Unless Winds of Winter starts after some sort of time jump, but considering how Dragons ended that would be more than a little anti-climactic, I'd think.

He said in an interview that he's already writing Winds of Winter, but then again we've heard that before...

He's not going to live that much longer, I'd take that chance.

I'm doing it. I will get to meet the guy, and in my state, his presence will be an afterthought which means I get to shake his hand and chat with him. One of the benefits of not being in New York or some other overpopulated/festering area.
