Raloi are the new ones people are hoping for the most.
Cerberus Daily News also hinted at new species such as the Kiriks (which are biotic bugs) and the Virtual Aliens. But their really a mechanical manifestation.
Anyway there is a recent topic which does discuss these aliens below.

I think Casey or some other developer said that we'll see aliens that haven't been shown in the Mass Effect games before.
I would also like a new alien teammate. Humans are so dull in Mass Effect.

It would be kinda cool if a mysterious new alien race was introduced. Maybe Shepard finds them and asks them for some help. At the moment....council space has very little hope against the Reaper's attack on the galaxy. Even if everyone gets together to take on the Reapers, they might need some more help. A new race with serious firepower could be a fun twist in ME3.

Yeah agreed. I'd really love to have a Raloi on the squad. Maybe a female one, but seeing as it took BW 3 games to show us a female krogan, who is still wearing a mask, i doubt it.

The Raloi remind me of the Quarians... I hope they have different biology and physical appearances. But they do sound interesting.

I am all for new Aliens as long as it doesn't get in the way creating female aliens! If I'm going to Palaven, I better see some female Turians! That's all I'm sayin'
