Well, i mean... you will import a save game with everybody alive? are you trying to acomplish the "No one left behind " achievement or just you don't care for the dead squadmates in your game for ME3?

i´ve been complete the game twice. In the first try, Legion dies in the occulus attack (no multishield core or whatever this time). And in my second try, Miranda wasn´t loyal so Tali got a headshot closing a door...<_<, besides, i went to the omega-4 relay too late so Kelly and the other members of the crew dies (maybe its not so important but i fail them :crying:)...

So im gonna try for third time, i want to see all the squadmembers in ME3...you will try too?

In all my times I've played ME2, I've never lost a teammate. So I guess I'm going in with a full team.

Didn't lose anyone, and that's the way it's going to stay.

And not for an achievement, either. Some of the squad I like a lot better than others, but I'd feel bad knocking off any of them, and besides, cameos/temporary characters/full-on squadmates for ME3 are going to have a huge impact in your enjoyment.

That being said, if we have to choose someone to be left behind, I wonder what the options will be...

I can't decide what to import on my first playthrough: My canon Shep, who had no one left behind, or Fail!Shep, who only has Morinth and Kasumi left. I'm thinking Fail!Shep, because it will be hilarious.

I did all the loyalty missions, thought that no upgrades would obviously screw me over (And they're so cheap!), did all secondary missions and bought all but a couple of the upgrades, sent Legion down the vents & had Miranda & Garrus lead the squads, with Samara as the biotic fortress. Only thing I would've changed is bringing Garrus & Tali instead of Thane & Tali, just because, but Thane has his upside, as Shepard will catch Tali and then get pulled into the Normandy by her in return (Thane won't pull in Shepard, even a romanced one; See Thane is a Jerk thread).

Edit: Oh, and as I had all secondaries completed, I went right to the base to get my crew. Can't have them being turned into Reaper koolaid.

I have eight different Shepards ready to go for ME3. My canon femShep lost Tali and Mordin. Mordin died a the hold the line, Tali died because I picked the wrong leader for the fire squad. Another Shep lost Mordin again on the line, which after that I took him with me or sent him with the crew.

I have three Shepards that didn't lose anyone. I am now working on redo a few Sheps that actually lose people on purpose to see how not having them plays out in ME3.

Yes, Im usually leaving Jacob and Miranda behind ( except my first time, when everyone survived SM). I don't like them enough to keep Mr. Prize and Ms. Perfect for ME3.

I did every single mission/sidequest bought every single upgrade for ship and crew and I mean everything till I couldn't upgrade anymore did everyone's loyalty but still lost half of my party members cause I picked people for the wrong job in the suicide mission

The only time I had anyone die was on a renegade playthrough where I only did 4 loyalty missions (garrus, tali, jack, and zaeed) I also did all upgrades to the ship.

Only 2 casualties (Mordin and Miranda)

As much as I like everyone of the characters in ME2 and how it's really not hard to complete the SM without losing any squadmates I actually want to lose some teammates just to see how ME3 pan's out.

Of all the squadmates Jacob and Grunt are the only ones that I don't care for.

I do agree with you on the sm its not hard to keep everyone alive for me after doing all loyalties and keeping jack/miranda tali/legion loyal buying and using every single upgrade till you can't upgrade any more.  seven out of one male shepards lost half his party members in the suicide mission while only one kept all of his party members.

I don't care for jacob don't like grunt prefer wrex.

I will be importing a game with all squadmembers alive of course. At a later date (say after finishing ME3 about 4 times) I'll just create a new Shepard in ME3, (hopefully) use the comic to state everyone but 2 squaddies died, and then do another ME3 run to see how that works out.

I'm a perfectionist so none of my Sheps ever lost anyone... I would have tried to replay and not do the loyalty missions that wouldn't have seemed significant to my sheps, but I guess they're all softies because all of them seem pretty important to me. Most of those missions have to do with saving someone's life, so in my mind it would be strange of the Shep not to do it.

In one playthrough I had no loyalty with Legion (no time) and Zaeed (saved the workers but played Renegade), but they both still survive...

I don't leave anyone behind, not even the characters I don't like, such as Jack. The fact that their character traits irks me does not change the fact that they are able and useful people with unique and often exceptional skills.

Besides, a captain cannot afford to be picky.
