Women change their hairstyle all the time. That, and Ashley may not even changed it. She had hair her tied up in a bun in ME1 and ME2.

I can live with the hair (as long as she isn't going into combat without a helmet with hair blocking her eyes). The catsuit however...

I'm really happy with the hole re-thinkin' old characters, especially Ash, she was way to uptight in ME1, so loosening the hair ain't that bad! So hope we will see a lot more of it with other npc's as well!

I could care less, I always kill off Ashley, she's a racist pig in both attitude and appearance. Not trolling, just stating my opinion. I've always wanted to give her a chance, but I have never played through Virmire without leaving her to die.

Ashley isn't really a racist.

Her comment about not being able to tell the aliens from the animals was in poor taste, she has to be judged based on her words and actions throughout the whole series, and not just one example of Ashley putting her foot in her mouth. In one of the elevator conversations she'll tell Tali that she hopes Tali's efforts on the team will be recognized and inspire other species to not be as bigoted towards the Quarians. (or something to that effect)
If you bring her along when the xenophobic Terra Firma party is having it's rally on the Citadel, Ashley is downright hostile towards them because of their anti-alien bigotry. Also if she's still alive in ME2, she makes it clear that she really hates Cerberus, so much so that she gets angry at Shepard for working with them.

From the size of the bun, it looks like it would be that long anyway.  Ash still looks like Ash to me.

Needs to go into battle in a combat speedo but thats just my fantasy it would get me killed to id be son innatentive of the battle.
